Despite the fact that PFF ranks Wilson pretty high, the Bills tried hard to push him out. They demoted him halfway through the year and basically did everything they could do reduce his snaps. He was splitting 50-50 with Da'Norris Searcy (not exactly a superstud) by the end of the year. That's a red flag to me.

    I'd love William Moore.

Wouldn't mind #2 while still grabbing Elam. Cyprien or Swearinger might be there a round or two later if we wait.

I'm down for bringing him in. I see no harm in it. Sure, he might turn out to not be good, but can it get worse than what we have now?

I looked him up on Wikipedia... These are the type of players we need. He's a big time contributor to the community and spends time with under-privileged kids. Apparently he set up a retreat in Nashville for kids. He's a good guy and a solid veteran. Definitely not many years left, but give him a shot.

Sign him. He'd certainly enjoy being out of Buffalo and in a good city.

Yeah I've been reading that as well. I think he can be another Chris Hope for us, before he got too bad. He brings leadership and can actually tackle. Give him 2 years until the next guy is ready to play and we'll be fine. If we're relying on him for anything more then we're getting in trouble.

While being a good person is an awesome quality, I disagree with you here. We need the type of players that will help this team win. In the end, a winning team is probably about the best thing for a community. George Wilson is Jordan Babineaux 2.0. He's old, he's slow, and like JC said earlier, he got cut by the bills(one of the worst secondary's in the league). While he can't do any worse than our safeties right now, I definitely don't think he can do much better.

Apparently our FO agrees with you though: http://www.dnj.com/article/20130214/SPORTS/302140019/Wilson-visits-Titans

Hopefully we just offered him like a 1 year/1 million dollar deal...nothing more...If we can bring him in for that cheap then yes, I wouldn't mind taking a shot on him. It will allow us to address other concerns in free agency.

He's a vet that knows the game and is still productive. He's on the backside of his career but adding him would give the Titans some time to draft a SS and "coach 'em up".

If they can get him in a three-year deal which doesn't cap-strap them after a couple of seasons if they release him, I go for it.

Yea I don't want him for more than 1-2 seasons. I still want us to draft a safety by the 3rd round. Wilson can be the starter and whoever we draft can compete for the job in camp or take over if he sucks.
