Jaguars new logo, I want a new LOGO!

    My cousin is a big Jaguars fan and live in Jacksonville. She said everyone down there is blasting the new logo. They hate it.

    Don't blame them. It's awful.

    I know it's a cliched gripe, but something about it just screams 'arena league' to me. When it comes to professional team logos, the simpler the better IMO. This comes off as 'change for the sake of change' and very forced. I honestly can't believe they approved this. But apparently some people think it's an improvement.

    Different strokes apparently but again, this one is WAY better.
    The old Jag logo didn't even resemble a jaguar:
    - gold muzzle
    - stoned looking eye
    - pinto beans for spots
    - funky pointy black ear

    The new logo fixes all of this and features a cool lip snarl and an eye that appears to be fixed rather than dopey..

    And my opinion counts double over those here who have never created a commercially successful logo. Na na na bo boo stick your head in doo doo.. :jagsbite:

    Well then allow me to balance your opinion out and say it's terrible.

    Someone that's created a successful logo should know this is garbage. Ok for a kid's t-shirt design, but not for a logo of any sort.

    The only good thing about the new is the shape of the head. The old was too bulky.



    It's basically an illustration- not a logo. Totally different things. And one doesn't work for an NFL franchise or branding.

    And I'm not saying the artwork itself is bad. It isn't.

    But for a LOGO? Yeah. It's bad.
