I don't really care about Manning, the Colts, or the Broncos. I care about the Titans. Because you mentioned it, I've never had a problem with Manning calling his guys out. He demands perfection. I'd love to see 53 on our roster feel the same way.

I'm still cautiously optimistic for next season. Most aren't. Can't blame them. A special teams coach being replaced for putting a good unit on the field, and a linebackers coach for the same isn't very encouraging. Most would say there are others that should lose their jobs (Gray). I'm in favor of Gray getting one last crack at this thing. That said, Gray keeping his job in contrast to the position coaches who lost theirs is preposterous. You have a twisted perspective on what accountability is.

How high will morale be when, after believing things were just going to happen for them, they are getting skulldrug next season?

If CJ had said that we're right on the cusp of being contenders, wouldn't this thread be about how retarded CJ is for thinking this is a championship caliber team?

They know they suck, but it doesn't help when one of your team leaders tells the media how much you suck.

Maybe it will motivate players not to suck? Coaches do stuff like this all the time, put a quote out in the media to reach out to the players.

This whole thing should be a non issue, but for some reason people like to hate on CJ ... actually it seems last like Titan fans like to hate on all their players.

we could get a mid round player to do what cj does for us.....for probably somewhere around 7-8 million less a year....ill stand by my statement that we should of unloaded him when his value was up there instead of giving him that ridiculous extension

When his value was up? You mean when he was younger? Cuz he's still a beast and everyone around the league knows it. O-Line was ranked dead last in run blocking in 2012. CJ was 9th in the league in rushing with less carries than all but 1 one the RB's ahead of him.

Why do people care so much about his contract? Its not like its preventing us from going out and getting FAs, we have plenty of space for that. Are you guys paying for his contract out of your own pockets?

Put CJ behind a decent OL and he will be a top 3 RB no doubt

I've got no problem with what he said. I think CJ cares about winning a lot more than most people care to admit. I appreciate his honesty. No point in pretending this organization is all sunshine and rainbows when it's pretty far off from that.
