He's on point. Not sure griffin can play in the box tho... But at the same time he don't make any free safety plays either...

    I stopped reading after:

" Michael Griffinis a great player, but he would be a better fit at strong safety. I think you really want to have a ball hawk at the free safety position, and that's something the Titans can fill in free agency or the draft. Then Griffin could be the guy that moves closer to the line, makes tackles and helps stop the run. "

NO. We tried that before the year. "Make tackles and help stop the run", dude he led the NFL in missed tackles. If anything he should focus on being the ball-hawking safety.

A Defensive Tackle would certainly make all 10 other guys on defense better, and would also force more 3 & outs which in turn helps the offense with good starting field position.

The other side of the coin says go O-Line for similar reasons. Having a functional offensive line would allow us to run the ball which in turn keeps drives alive, which would allow the defense to rest up so when they finally play, they can be fresh and make plays.

Best year was his rookie year when he led the NFL in average yards per reception. Was a third round WR out of Ohio State. Played along side Joey Galloway. Typical track guy except he could catch. Still could not handle physical play. For the rest of his career CBs just jammed him at the line. Was not very effective after that rookie year. Real shame.

Words smerds... Dude said he sucked basically, give him an easier role. But griffin is king ***** made whiffs. He shouldn't even be on the team. He's not a ball hawk... Not even close. Only ints that dude gets are the ones thrown RIGHT at him, or tipped into his hands. He's just mad lucky.

I tried to post this in the comments section, didnt work.. so i'll post it here:

I disagree with a few things here.

#1 - Michael Griffin as a SS? Gray already tried this when Robert Johnson was starting over Babs. He was awful. Griffin can not get into the box and make tackles, if you didn't know, he led the NFL in missed tackles. If anything Griffin should focus on his coverage skills and become the ballhawk, Titans should follow up with Matt Elam SS Florida in the 2nd round. He's the enforcer we need in the secondary.

#2 - Our OL is NOT good when healthy. Look at last year, we were one of the worst OLs in the league. Roos & Stewart had off years, but are still very good (but are getting older). Velasco proved that he can be a start. Hutchinson should retire. Amano should be cut. We need a new starting LG and RG. Chance Warmack in the 1st would be awesome. I also really like Andy Levitre (Bills) who is a unrestricted FA, and I doubt he gets tagged (Bills will use it on Byrd). Adding Warmack & Levitre would turn this OL around, and would help both CJ AND Locker.

A dominant DT would be nice, but only Star Lotulelei is worth the #10 pick. Richardson doesn't have the size (more of a Henry Melton). Hankins is big, but that's about it. Jesse Williams interests me. However, Jurrell Casey and Mike Martin can be a legit duo. I would like a later round DT like a Kwame Geathers in the 3rd or 4th.

Dee Milliner also is interesting in the 1st round. As you said, ATV is better suited for the nickle. Having McCourty & Dee on the edge would be terrific.

My advice: Go spend in the free agency, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Andy Levitre. Take Chance Warmack in the first, Matt Elam in the 2nd, and a bigger DT in the 3rd.

Elam gonna be king personal foul along with whiffin missing the tackles and taking the worst angles ever so he don't even have to hit the guy.

I would crap my pants if we signed a top Guard FA, drafted a DT at 10, and got Elam at 39, I would just go berserk.

That would be the best bet... But only star is worth the 10 from the DT selection.
