2 ultra experienced offensive coaches with head coaching experience as well. Both 52 years old.

The numbers.. First number is average rank in scoring offense and the second is total offense.

    Mularkey 9 seasons as OC
    12.25
    12.25

    Cameron 8 years as OC
    10.3
    13.5

Any takers? Both have coached offenses that were not very talented and offenses that were great. Both have had success with young QBs. Mularkey was OC in Atlanta from 08-11 with Matt Ryan but also was Nick Saben's OC in 06 with Joey Harrington. My God.

Cameron's best stretch was with with the chargers when he had both Brees and Rivers and Tomlinson was in his prime. Cameron was also Flacco's OC as a rookie in 08.

I hope nobody defends us keeping our OC with the Caveat that Tom Moore will be here to hold his dick for him. If he needs Tom Moore then he isn't up for the job.

Yes. And Locker is no Peyton Manning. WTF has Tom Moore done without him?

Did either of them ever coach or play with the Oilers? If the answer is "NO" then there is no point in getting your hopes up.

I'm not advocating either one of them. I want us to interview Foerster and Solari for the job and if the kid wants to stay on as QB coach that is fine.

We know with all the coaching changes both those guys will be working somewhere and if Munch wanted one of them he could snap him up before those hires are made.

Wouldn't have a problem with either of them. However, I do believe both of our coordinators will be the same ones we currently have. Munch should have canned them both by now if he wasn't planning on keeping them. Guys like Turner have already been fired and hired. It's really frustrating to say the least.

Do you think either one would be interested working for a team that will fire its head coach next year?

I do, that would make it even more enticing. They would stand a better chance of being promoted to HC if Munch were ever shown the door.

Our current OC is barely off of being a college Graduate Assistant and has never called plays at ANY level, even high school. It showed in the few games he called this year. Unacceptable to keep him.

As has been pointed out, Cam Cameron was a "great OC" with Drew Brees/Phillip Rivers, LaDanian Tomlinson, a great OL, a Hall of Fame FB (at a time when you could have an FB on the field most of the time), etc. He got fired in Baltimore for failing to do jack squat with Joe Flacco, Ray Rice, Anquan Boldin, and Torrey Smith. In other words he looks good with Hall of Fame talent and bad with great talent. With mediocre offensive talent...well, ask the Miami Dolphins.

Mularkey's got more of a track record, but after seeing how much more Dirk freaking Koetter is doing with the talent in Atlanta I'm wary of him.
