Locker was a project player I don't understand the rush to get him out of here.

-He was behind Hasselbeck his 1st year and looked pretty good in the time he did play.
-2nd season he won the job but then injured his shoulder. CJ struggled, OL went to crap, and new OC. He did look pretty good to start the year and then our season went to crap and so did our whole offense.

If that is so.. He was the wrong pick for the Titans, and a right pick for a team with a solid starting qb... in the 3rd round.

We just picked a bad year to need a rookie QB.
Had we been top 10 in 2004, we'd have gotten Manning, Rivers, or Roethlisberger... although I hate all those players.

We were in an unfortunate situation.. and made an unfortunate choice.

Once more... if you couldn't tell the Palko thing was a joke, you need to probably quit the internet now because you suck at it.

Injured Tashard Choice? That's where you get me? ... pathetic.

Oh jeez. How well did Ken Dorsey do in the NFL? How bout Matt Lienart? There's so many college stars that suck in the NFL its nuts. College success has nothing to do with NFL success. Thats why you'll see Jake Locker's and Pierre-Pauls go in the 1st round every year.

If you aren't a star in college.. you won't even usually even get a sniff in the NFL.. it's just that a percentage of the stars flame out. College success is the best indicator of potential NFL success.

That's why they don't just randomly pick college players and assign them to NFL teams.. They pick what they consider to be the absolute best in the country

I never said a players skill in college always translates. But college players weaknesses always follow them to the next level. Always. Lockers weakness has always been accuracy and anticipation. And those are probably the two most important things a quarterback can possess.

I've been vocal of my support for Dalton in here since like last summer. Always thought he was a better prospect. He was my #1 2011 qb in the draft. For the players I thought would be better than Locker... Dalton, Newton, Ponder, Stanzi, and even TJ Yates.
