A pass rush helps the rest of our defense more and we need an OL to protect Locker and open up some lanes for CJ. It's much easier finding a SS than an improved pass rush and capable lineman.

Getting annoying seeing so many mocks having us take a CB. These guys see our bad pass defense and assume well Griffin is good, McCourty just got a new contract, so it must be Babs and Verner and let's just go with CB.

We do need another good CB but not in the 1st round, with all the young guys we already have just bring in a veteran.

I say if Manti Te'o, Star Lotulelei, or Bjoern Werner are off the board... we trade back. By trading back we could hopefully snap Barrett Jones (maybe even Warmack) and a top rated safety.

Round 1: Manti Te'o, MLB, Notre Dame - As much as it pains me to say, we can't trust McCarthy to stay healthy. As a result of this we have to draft in another defensive signal caller. Te'o is that guy. He can be the face of this defense and lead the change to a more physical and reliable defensive unit.

Round 2: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee - Britt has more health concerns and our offence is in need of more weapons. With Wright in the slot and Washington, Britt, Cook and Patterson as multiple big targets, Locker's job will be made a lot easier.

Round 3: Travis Frederick, C/OG, Wisconsin
Round 4: Cornellius Carradine, DE, Florida State
Round 5: D.J. Swearinger, SS, South Carolina
Round 7: Zac Stacy, RB, Vanderbilt

They have a video on NFL.com about coaches that are in danger, they mention Chicago and Minny and leave us out. Just goes to show nobody cares about us.

The one thing about going CB would be that it would improve 2 positions because it would upgrade the NB spot as well.

But I agree we have other needs that are more important.

Some day people will understand that great corners don't win you a lot of games. All an offense needs to do is throw away from him and they're golden if the rest of the defense sucks, which ours kind of does.

Nnamdi Asomougha is a great example when he played for the Raiders.

Anyone interested in a second day QB?

Maybe a Tyler Wilson? And if so... Who's to say the patriots wouldn't trade Mr Ryan Mallet for a second and maybe a 5th? I'd be on that trade in a second... And if they wouldn't take a second, draft Wilson. We need a contingency plan in place, sooner rather than later.

Of course this comes with a removal of Munch from head coach and probably new coaches all around.
