Gay is considered a max player and star, gets compared to Durant and is like a near top 5 player in NBA 2k. At least that's what I hear, which would be highly overrated, and he's considered a great scorer, when he's a merely a good scorer, not great.

Parson's one of my favorite players, 'cuz he has such a unique skill set. He's 6'10" and can handle the ball, wasn't a great shooter coming out of college, but less than 2 years in the NBA, he now is, so we know he's a hard worker. And he's very athletic as we saw him posterize about 30 dudes at Florida...which has translated well in the NBA. Also an excellent passer and defender. Reminds me of a young Lamar Odom. Pretty amazing considering he was a second round pick and wasn't even expected to crack the rotation...and now he's looking like he could be a future all star.

And at the time, the trade of Gay for Battier and Stromile Swift was a good one. Rockets were in a win-now mode and had T-Mac and Yao and needed that glue guy that didn't need to touch the ball a lot to contribute, which was Battier. And many were high on Swift, he just never developed his game and turned out to be a bust.

I liked Harden until I wanted the Thunder to win it last year...

at that point I began to hate him and I still hate him for sucking balls when it mattered.

    I wouldn't have much faith if he's your #1.

He is still young... but still. F him and his beard.

Harden is averaging 26 a game in his first year as the man when getting doubled team every game, and is also one of the most efficient players in the league. Like you said, he's young, he's 23, by the time he hits his prime, he'll be a top 10 player.

It was a win-win for both teams in the trade. Houston gets a legitimate star they can build around, someone they've been looking for after the post Yao era.

And OKC couldn't afford Harden and instead of letting him walk, got a ton of value in return in Kevin Martin, a top 10 pick and a nice prospect in Jeremy Lamb.

Scouting and coaching fail. It's widely known Linsanity is strong going to his right and struggles to his left, yet the Bulls didn't force him left all game and it was practically a lay up drill for him. Even the announcer was getting frustrated, completely baffled on why they kept letting him go right.

Which is pretty surprising, normally Thibs knows his stuff and weaknesses of other players.

Bulls took a major loss after Rose went down, obviously. But, Belinili has been playing good and Deng/Noah are potential all-stars. If we have a 100% D'Rose, this team would be fighting with the Heat in the ECF.

Of course, that team is built around a top 10 player, with very good depth.

Rose, Rip, Deng, Boozer, Noah is a top 3 starting five. Then you have a good bench with Hinrich, Taj and Nate Robinson.

Without d'rose we're nothing. Deng/Noah are both good, but they're not going to win the games by themselves. You add in D'Rose, and his 23/8 he can put up... plus the production Noah/Deng/Robinson/Bellinili are having this year, we'd be legit.

Having a cheap owner never helps. Dude will NOT allow us to go into Luxury Tax. Thus, crippling us from making any huge moves. We'll likely dump Nate Robinson and Rip Hamilton to avoid the tax. We can't amnesty Boozer because he doesn't want to have to pay him and his replacement. He's cheaper than Bud.

Overpaying Boozer is what's holding y'all back if anything. He's always been overrated and now is just a shell of his former self. Taj is a better player than him and younger. Y'all might have been better off paying Asik instead of Boozer.
