Why aren't you guys furious? (Fisher vs. Munchak)

I only remember maybe 4 or 5 out of 17 being good at all.

 

I mean let's face it...it's not like having Bud Adams make all the important decisions helped any...he helped Vince Young become a qb with one of the greatest winning percentages in the history of the NFL...Before that he had 4 or 5 good seasons alone with an actual good QB. I like to think we actually had 3 or 4 good season with Vince/Collins at the helm too...

What is this? Texas high school football?? No, it's the NFL...it's not state championship or bust...Fisher was a good coach, and shame on all of you that bad talk him and the good years he gave us!!!

 

Not breaking any new ground with this but he was and always will be the definition of mediocrity. Even watching the Rams this year like I have a few times makes me SO happy that he's gone. Kicking field goals all day for no reason and seemingly trying to tie other teams. It's debatable whether he helped or hurt Vince's career. There's plenty to say either way. We had a good enough team to win 10 games quite a few years with him but we always ended up with 8 or 9 most of the time & I put a lot of that on him and his coaching style.

 

He wasn't perfect and I get that, but what I don't understand is the hate most Titans fans have for him...the guy did pretty good when given a team that could perform. Yeah, he did bad with Billy Volek and during some of the rebuilding years, but overall he did good with what he had. BTW, I think Vince Young proved(Philly, Buffalo) that Fisher helped his career...I mean is it really Jeff Fisher's fault that Alge Crumpler fumbled the ball on his way to the endzone or Dyson didn't get that extra yard?? The man put us in those situations and the players didn't do their jobs..Like I said, I don't understand the haters...but hey, haters gon hate lol

Sure, he had some great years... but he had as many, or more, bad ones. So, there's that...

I wouldn't call it hate. That's too harsh. Many just grew to see Fisher for what he was: Average.

 

This thread is really backtalking the idiot fan that admitted he was a Fisher fan before being a Titans fan and is thus now a Rams fan.
