I will jump on the Te'o train. I like Colin, but he has too many injury issues. I think Te'o would be a great addition to this team.

Oh yeah, this is coming from someone who hates that ND is in the National Title game.

I usually like that idea but I'm tired of drafting just solid players, and that's what we've been doing since we're usually in the 15-20 range for most drafts. I either want a dominating lineman who can protect Locker and open up some holes for CJ or a leader on defense who can make plays and actually scare the opposing offense. That's something we haven't had since the days of Kearse, Bulluck, and Haynesworth for a couple of years.

I understannd that. Its just that Id rather have Barret Jones and Eric Reid than Te'o. Just thik it does more to help.

If T'eo isn't there when we pick then I'd like to see us trade down for an extra 2nd rounder but he is by far the best player in the draft. We'd be stupid to not pick him if he is available

Ayers ran a 4.81, I can't imagine Te'os being any slower. McCarthy is too small to play outside, he's set for MLB. Move Te'o to WLB & Brown to SLB. Ayers @ DE.

I admit I don't watch college football, but if this Manti Te'o is there and supposed to be a franchise defensive player, who cares if the position is not in need. If he's that good, I can't believe people are gonna blow him off for...Colin McCarthy, are you kidding me lol? I wonder if other team fans overvalue average talent like we do. When it comes to defense, any time you can have a franchise player, someone that can be a game changer, even if you already have good players at that position, you take him, period.

For example, if we still had Finnegan and Nick Harper in his prime, but the linebackers were weak or something, yet Charles Woodson was available, you draft Charles Woodson, end of story.

At worst, if he is there you trade down and get some crazy picks for him.

    McCarthy is a bum.

Lose out so we can get Te'o or another good player.
