    Munch will be back imo

Gray will be gone. Even though the defense has improved quite a bit, I dont see all the bad being forgotten.

Loggains, no clue yet. Hes one game into a 5 game audition and its becoming more apparent than ever that our QB/WR's are just as big a part of the problem as the playcalling. (except the game before Palmer was fired, because that was bad)

I wrote this at 8 last night you tool. That little piece that you quoted meant the browns have tried to rebuild numerous times in the last 10 years and look where they are still at. You have every right to argue an opinion, but opening with lay off the booze which implies I'm off my rocker for comparing a scenario which some fans would like to see happen to a team which has been doing that is retarded. Don't be troll on fan forum.

The reason I think that Gray will stay is based on the fact that I think Munch stays and as others have pointed out decent DC's are not going to play for a lame duck coach.

Also the defense has shown improvement over the past 4 games. Our offense has totally sabotaged them a bunch. Yesterday I only hold the defense accountable for the 1st long TD drive. Other than that our offense gave the Texans the rest of their points by turning the ball over 2 times in the red zone and then another time on the 35 yd line.

Of course if the Titans lay eggs against the Jets or Jags at home and Bud Adams leaves the game early again then I think a house cleaning will be in order. It is imperative for Munch's job that the team wins the last 2 home games.

I agree with what was said above. Its not fair to blame our D for a lot of the points they allowed. Yesterday was the best example of it, but it has really been going on all year long. Our offense has put them in some terrible situations, and thus they have given up a ton of points. Whether it is giving the opposing offense the ball in our own territory, the constant 3 and outs early in the season that left them on the field WAY to long, or the special teams allowing a big return and putting our D in a hole ... these have all happened a lot this year.

When our O actually strings together drives and plays well, then the D seems to be fine. Heck, they held the Texans to 3 points the entire 2nd half, and outside of the one big play they gave up (Griffin), they did a great job of stopping the Texans offense (which is supposed to be one of the best, at least that's what I keep hearing)

Not that our D is elite or anything. The are still pretty young, and have ZERO pass rush, which will have to be addressed, but I would not be surprised in the least to see us roll with Gray next year, and I know I will take some heat for this, but I am okay with it too. I think Munch saw the same thing and that is why he fired Palmer instead of Gray.

IMHO, If we stick with Munch (which I think we do for 1 more year) I think we go with Gray on the D, but make a big effort to upgrade the pass rush and S through the draft and FA.

The only way we get a new DC is if Munch is extended/fired as others have mentioned.

Same with the OC. If Munch stays with his current deal then we probably have to go with Loggains/Moore (depending on exactly what role they brought him in for). If Munch is fired/extended then I think it is possible that we look other places.

Why didn't we just leave him franchised for the year? I really don't know why we re-signed him.

What you STILL don't like the KWright pick?

KWright is a gonna be a top WR for the next decade.

Without hesitation, I'd rather have DeCastro and Konz on our roster right now. I said the same thing immediately after we passed on them in numerous posts. KW is a fine WR, but he has been given SIGNIFICANT targets. He should be catching the ball more. I honestly doubt KW is a top WR for the next decade. His current production is a result of his circumstance. No way Munchak/FO were NOT going to push targets his way.

I'm predicting a complete blow-up of the franchise after the season. The FO has produced nothing that gives the season ticket holder any hope for the future. Who wants to pay that kind of money. Plus, you no longer get any perks from being a PSL holder. (eg- first crack at Music City Bowl tix).

Bud will have to clean house to keep the fans that are paying for tix interested in continuing to pay exorbitant prices. We've already seen signs that the interest in season tix is waning. I guarantee there will be a record exodus of PSL holders after this season. Something has to be done to at least mitigate that.

The bad season is one thing. But we have taken a HUGE step backwards during this re-build phase. The foundation is BAD. People are not going to buy tickets to see anything associated with Reinfeldt, Webster. They neglected to address our major issues in the draft and they unwisely used our cap space on gaffes like Eugene Amano and Griffin. The coaching hires have been a debacle as well.

Clearly Reinfeldt has led Bud's franchise in the wrong direction. We are 2 years behind the Colts- no way to deny that. We are behind the Browns and Rams and probably the Dolphins as well. We are on par with the Bills. We won't even sniff a playoff for 3 more years at the earliest and that is if we blow this thing up and start fresh. If we keep trying this "in-house" patch-work method, we won't see a playoff for 10 years IMO.

I still fail to see your logic on this one. Its somehow better to sign a terrible player to a big long-term deal than it is to overpay him with the tag for a single season?

Besides, he's worth "nowhere near" whatever he's making this year under the new deal anyway. Except now we're stuck with a starter who is nothing but a liability for AT LEAST another season.

How on earth was that the better route to take? If we had left the tag on him theres no doubt in my mind he'd be off the roster after this season. Instead we're stuck with Michelle Le Vagician Whiffin Griffin for the forseeable future.
