Don't forget a 4-3 texans d went to a 3-4 d lead by phillips and was very successful in just one offseason.

    Some names out there are
Andy Reid, Eagles - I'd talk to him for a OC job, lots of people compare Locker to McNabb
Sean Payton, Saints - kind of a free agent coach, but likely to re-sign with Saints, doubt he goes down to OC
Chip Kelly, Oregon - He's gonna leave NCAA
Jon Gruden - always a popular name this time of year, but not sure he'd like a OC job
Bill O'Brien, Penn State - his name is out there but IDK that he's into leaving Penn St
Kyle Shanahan, Redskins - good play caller, he wouldn't make a lateral move here though
Mike McCoy, Broncos - very versatile coach

I like Andy Reid... my biggest issue with him is how stubborn he is when it comes to running the football. He's like the opposite of Fisher in that sense.

If the Eagles had been running the ball more often, they'd still be in the playoff hunt and maybe only a game back in the division.

Vick tricked them into believing he was actually good.

I wish I could get two $100,000,000.00 contracts and never live up to them.

I voted "significantly better", although I do not expect to see that this season. From what I am reading Loggains is a disciple of Dinger, which I think would be a good fit for Locker, as well as our receivers (who I am guessing Dinger would have loved to have while he was here instead of our stud group of Justin Gage et.al...)

Whatever the outcome, just losing Palmer is going to help IMO.....

Out of that whole list I'd take two; McCoy and Payton.

The fact that Palmer was told of his firing while in the office at 8:30 PM tells us this was a guy working hard at his job. But maybe he was too caught up in minutiae and just not seeing the big picture.

When we line up with 3 Wrs and Cook along with Stevens who can match up with that in a nickel? Can linebackers or slow strong safeties handle Cook? Can your 3rd or 4th best CB handle D-will or Wright or Britt?

They can't but even with 3 Wrs and Cook on the field we still have the ability to run. Almost more than when we line up in a traditional set.

Look what happened in this last game when we opened the field and passed with success on them. CJ breaks off a big run on a draw.

And with the ability to get guys open down the field and a QB with a strong arm why in the f*ck are we running so many WR screens? If you want to screen them run it with CJ he is our best runner.

And that is another thing, we have a RB with sprinter speed and we can't find better ways to use him?

Think of the Redskins in the 1980s. They put 3 Wrs on the field you could not matchup with. Clark, Monk and Sanders. But they were still a great power running team!

Now our offensive line is not of that caliber that the Redskins had back then but they didn't have a RB who could take it to the house from 80 yards out either and they had nobody like Jared Cook.

When the Redskins won the super bowl in 1987(45-10 vs Broncos) Doug Williams was mvp off a monster game but remember a backup RB also had over 200 yards that game. A super bowl record.

Line up 3 Wrs, make them play nickel against us and try to match up and that also helps the running game.
