Not sure where I read it but I don't think Brown was 100% healthy. I think he has some sort of illness.

Liked the Ayers pick because of his ability to pass rush and really liked the Brown pick (black sheep on this site) because of his athleticism and I didn't buy the whole allergic to contact saying either, wanted to see what he would do on the field before being that judgmental of a player. If McCarthy can just stay healthy we have have the best LB core in a couple of years.

As far as the Brown int...Tannehill took a pretty big angle on Brown and he was a former WR himself. Brown also isn't 100% right now.

Hated the Brown pick. It had nothing to do with his ability. I just watched him absolutely dog it at UNC. Coples was even worse and he has played well, too. UNC was just toxic.

Anyway, thrilled with what Brown has done. I hope he can continue to develop. Also agree that he looks about as twice as old as he is...

edit: He definitely doesn't run the 4.2 that he was timed in college.

Yeah I thought he was going to turn that INT into RB mode.

You better believe the teammates are giving him hell for letting Tannehill run him down.

McCarthy can seriously turn into a top 5 linebacker in the league if he can stay healthy.. How many INT does this guy make? Game I went to in the preseason he had 2 and 1 returned for a TD. He makes plays when he is healthy.. Ayers will be an absolute terror if he isn't already. Zach Brown apparently was the missing piece of the puzzle. I think what the Titans have on defense.. Just need a dominate, game changing DE, an above average SS, and another CB.

How does Brown, the fastest rb in last years draft, get caught by ryan tannenhill. I mean all he had to do was cut him up and he had an easy touchdown!

Very well said. This could be the beginning of a group that could become an anchor for our defence. The McCarthy int is encouraging when you consider one of the knocks on him coming out of Miami was his pass defence. The constant injurries scare me though. It would be prudent for the Titans to explore a fall-back option this offseason. There is a good possibility the Career of Colin McCarthy will never really take off with injurries being the reason why.

I liked what I read from the post game quotes all of them said they just played there own position and that is what put them in the right spot. Hopefully after a game like this it will show them that if they take care of there area and not try to do to much the plays will come to them.

Anyone know if all three starting LBs on a team making picks ever happen before?
