Ayers isn't a DE. He goes handdown in Nickle, occasionally, that's it. I do love Te'o though.

Says the rush specialist, he's rotation for wimbley right now. Seeing less snaps to keep fresh for getting after the passer. What's the point in having him be a OLB if we are going Nickle 90 percent of the time and him rushing the passer. One player can only play so much.

Last week his snap total: 34-of-77 snaps.

Ayers right now is our best pass rusher. 3 sacks in limited role. Staying late after practice to work on pass rush moves. The whole nine. If he's gonna be a limited role in either position, we might as well choose the one he is excelling at.

Where is Jarvis Jones expected to go? I assume we will have a top 10 pick, but will he be top 5?

Could be a top 5 easy depending on fit

I look at Jarvis Jones and I see a more explosive version of Ayers. In this defense, which I hope we're not playing at this time next year, he'll play the same role. Sam linebacker in the base defense and then end on passing downs.

I think it is too late for Banks to go under the radar. I've seen a lot of people with him or Millner as the top CB.
