Well, no. But I am projecting how I think the rest of the season will likely play out based on what I've already seen. IF we were to go on some kind of run and sneak into the playoffs then that would obviously change my opinion. But I wouldn't bet more than a shiny nickel on that happening, considering the sum total of what I've seen out of Munch-led teams.

I understand that. And I DO understand it plays a significant part in all this. But I guess where we differ is on the extent to which that is a valid excuse. I don't think it's unfair at all to start judging the actual product on the field halfway through Munchak's 3-year contract.

Sadly, I don't think he'll be fired at all. Can't see Bud getting rid of the HoF Oiler.

I agree with you on waiting till the end of the season but I think we need to clean house top to bottom. There's really nothing left to evaluate. I would go ahead and start putting the whole staff under review.

Reinfeldt/Webster/Munch... etc etc Send them all packing... Then use that same energy you channeled to try and woo peyton manning to tennessee and use it this offseason to invest in a worthy Front Office and Coaching Staff.

Munch may not have gotten the coordinators he wanted... and that's the FO's fault. You hired a guy within the organization that has no real ties to anyone outside of Jeff Fisher and you want him to call his buddies up and get them to come coach the staff? Okay.. The result? We have a 1993 offense, a 1993 defense, Bruce Matthews is now the O line coach, but the O line is subpar on Run Blocking... and we only win games when we get extremely lucky.

You bring in a coach who has real ties to other coaches in the league.. Such as someone from the Parcells coaching tree, you will have a HC that has real options when trying to get coordinators

Which never made sense to me. Bud should be pulling out all the stops. He wants to win a superbowl so badly and doesn't have a lot of time for screw ups. His standards, you'd think, should be so high. I dont get why he would chase after peyton manning and not some one like Gruden or Cower when they won a superbowl when we were looking for a coach.

This is what Munchak said regarding Jared Cook:
"When you do a lot more play action and two-back stuff, you’ll have one tight end in there. That’s not necessarily where you want to use (Jared) Cook."

Why would you not want to use Cook in play action?!?! That means more than likely he is going to be lined up against a line backer! Even if they decide to put a nickel guy on him that makes it that much easier for CJ to find running room.

    OUR COACH IS AN IDIOT!

But play action is a pass, not a run.

He said that using him in two back sets with one te was not how he should be used....Which is a set play action can be really effective

So, regardless of what happens in the next eight games, you blow it up?

I just don't get this mentality. What you want to see is improvement with the potential for greatness. It's no different than what you want to see from Locker or any young player.

If the Titans finish strong, then I think it's insane to do more than remove the dead weight wherever that is.
