Band of Brothers....now there is a show that I could watch non-stop.

I can also watch the Godfather movies back to back to back....easily.

Bump, figured RSB or others that are past season 1 or 2 [or anyone] might be interested in those threads.

I had to go back and rewatch from S1 with all this talk, on 2nd disc of S2.. I forgot how emotional S1 was  [don't judge me]

Psych is one of my favorite shows. So funny. Good mysteries. What makes it is how good the actors that play Shawn and Gus are together. Playing grown up best friends running a psychic detective scam effectively. Good guest appearances constantly, very quirky. The constant references to the Mentalist biting them... Great stuff. Great cast of constant throwback actors.

I like White Collar well enough. Law & Order is what it is. If you love it, you're going to be happy for a long long time. It just never ends. Otherwise it gets tired. Breakout Kings was decent for the two episodes I've seen. Didn't fall in love immediately.

Lost is like this: It's about enjoying the ride of the show, not how it ends. It's one of the most ambitious undertakings of TV storytelling ever attempted. My wife and I came in on season 3 after watching the hour long episode that explains the first two seasons, and we were good to go. Each season gets more interesting. And ambitious. It's easy to get swept into the plot.

I haven't read the rest of the thread yet, but I'll add I avoided it for 2 years due to the hype, but it was worth watching and saying you've seen it. Kinda like a Mash, or a Gunsmoke, for it's time. It's pretty good TV overall. A lot of times, as much entertainment value as a movie over equivalent time. It's pretty good TV, definitely.

This shows the thing with all of us who watched it had to love it for a time. To their credit, I thought the writers answered as much stuff as they could, and left other things to the imagination. And they did try to answer as much as they knew immediately after it was over.

People have to remember, it's the network, too. Sometimes the producers and writers aren't given the time to tell something the way they want because they aren't given the time. It's not all on them. In the end, I think they did the best they could with the time they had. That's the most you can reasonably expect.

I just can't seem to finish Lost.

I keep saying I need to watch it... I'm so close. Almost done with the 5th season, but I lost interest long ago. It got a bit too crazy. I will definitely finish it though.

I finished it....it wasn't as bad as some make it out to be. I thought the last season was great. The story plot took such a huge turn in the last few season though, it was really really crazy.

I started watching this a few years ago.... the last few seasons just went off the deep end for me.
