Just glad to get the win. If CJ can consistently produce the rest of the season then we're gonna be a hard team to keep out of the end zone. Who knows what Locker's ceiling will be and Hasselbeck looks like the H-Beck of early last season. We don't have to have a top 5 defense to be able to compete with elite teams. We just need to make plays when it counts on defense. Win more battles than we lose. We won't need to hold teams under 17 to win.

Nick Barnett on the 83 yard CJ run.

“For me it definitely was a wrong shoulder, No. 1," said Barnett, referring to where he attacked the fullback. "The technique I was trying to do, which I had done earlier for the first two plays that I wrong-shouldered it, I pushed the fullback in there and got around the outside. This time he kind of bear-hugged me, and I don’t care what you say, it was holding. The first time, Shep got over fast, too, and the safety was down (near the line of scrimmage). I kind of was trying to do that technique at the wrong time. I knew that I was supposed to be the hammer but just tried to make the play as well.
So I’ll correct that. That won’t ever happen again. But I’ll still try to make plays. I can’t do that. I can’t be a robot."

    Aww poor baby:makefun:

No way he's faster than 4.4 flat.

Any RB in the league is gone on that carry.

And did Munch credit the Bill's "defense"? That was 99% of it.

So what does that safety run that was running at near full speed and was blown by and lost 5 yards in distance in a few seconds?

He hits the 20 yard line at 2:52 in the video, that is when he really turns the jets on. It is 2:44 when he crosses the end zone. That is 80 yards in 8 seconds, and he is slowing down to look behind him, cause he is out of gas the last 10 yards.

Ok, let's say the Bills defense is 99% of it. Wel, this week he follows up a 195-yard performance against the #32 run defense by going home to Nashville to play the #26 rush defense. So, expect more of the same. :) And expect him to be in the top 7 or 5 after these 175+ yards. hahaha

By the way, his 91-yard performance against the #9 rush defense ... is that the defense just playing soft, too? What about his 140+ yard performance vs the #5?

What about his 90+ yard game vs the #9 rush D? Or the 140+ yard game against the #5 rush D? Or are the 1-loss Texans with the #5 rush D, #5 pass D, and #5 scoring D not legit?

Thing is- it wouldn't surprise a single person here if he went 15 for 20 yds against the #26 defense on Sunday.

You mean the one that was at a stop- started running after CJ was already mid-sprint and passed him.... and was gaining on him the entire run?

Probably about a 4.38... which is quite a bit faster than CJ is now.

But CJ did look MUCH faster on that carry than we've seen in a long time.
