Phil Simms says Hasselbeck the real “Matty Ice”

    CBS analyst Phil Simms is picking the Titans to upset Buffalo this weekend, even if that might mean quarterback Matt Hasselbeck passes Simms on the NFL’s career touchdown pass list.

    Hasselbeck enters Sunday with 198 career touchdown passes, good for 33rd all-time in league history. Simms is one spot ahead of him with 199 career TD passes.

    Simms was talking about Week 7 upsets during his NFL Monday Quarterback show on CBS Sports Network when he said he’d choose the Titans over the Bills.

    “I know it’s not a marquee game, but I’m going to take the Tennessee Titans over the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo,” Simms said. “The Titans had a big win over the Pittsburgh Steelers as we know.

    “But the real “Matty Ice” is Matt Hasselbeck. That’s the reason why I’m taking them. He has a lot of energy. He has a lot of energy that he’s bringing to the team. I think he’s going to be the difference.”

    I think anyone who compares Matt Ryan and Matt Hasselbeck in any way, shape, form or fashion should never be allowed to watch football again.

    On another note.... I wonder what Simm's evaluations of his sons were... ohhhhh I went there :biggrin2:
