C.J. credits offensive line after 141-yard outing

Because of the perceived results of the combination of good blocking and CJ's talents. I wuldn't argue that CJ's acceleration is at the same level it was in 2008-2009, but it, along with his speed are still very impressive. Like it or not, with the same blocking, CJ can turn a run that the average NFL RB would get 7-8 yards into a long TD. That's why he was given the money he was. Unfortunately, Palmer has insisted on using a blocking scheme that his O-Linemen are too slow for, and CJ has taken the majority of the blame from fans for it. This has lead to CJ saying things publicly that he shouldn't. I don't like some of the things he has said to the fans and about his O-line, but I have to admit that there is certainly truth to what he has said. CJ has been much more truthful than the fans who blame him, and say he's "the worst RB in football." That's absolutely ridiculous!

Matt Forte with a bad ankle is faster than CJ now. What a shame.

If you're watching this game, it should be pretty obvious Forte is faster.
