Yeah he was in open field but he was not able to find a seam anywhere once he got there. I will hold judgement on his speed until I see him get a chance to outrun everyone. Like he did last year vs buffalo.

Again, that's the whole point, he had running room yesterday and wasn't able to break away from his defenders like he used to. He was so fast before that he caught defenders off guard and they would take bad angles because once they got to where they thought he would be he was already gone and they weren't catching him. He doesn't dumbfound his defenders like that anymore. Maybe once he gets a few productive games under his belt like he had yesterday the old burst will return but so far it just looks like he's nowhere near as fast as he used to be.

Its because yesterday when he got in the open field he was indecisive. Can't really fault him for that being it has been so long since he has been in the open field! The speed is still there, that's the least of my worries!

    Are you ****ing kidding me?

Really? This is the excuse you guys are giving him now?

This is the worst excuse I have EVER heard about CJ. Worse than my sarcastic theory about the moons gravitational pull effecting him also.

Is CJ as fast as he once was? No. Is he still faster than pretty much anyone on defense yes he is. He never looks fast on tv or even when he was busting his big runs. It has always looked like he is running in slow motion but people dont catch him from behind. Idk if it's b/c he takes long strides or what, but even in his 2000 yard season when he got past everyone it doesnt look like he is moving that fast.

How many carries average it takes CJ to get Touchdowns each year

    2008- 27 carries per TD
    2009-25 carries per TD
    2010-28.7 carries per TD
    2011-65.5 carries per TD
    2012-58 carries, 0TDs

Note that in 2008, he was splitting carries with Lendale, who HOGGED the goal-line plays, and he still had more TDs per capita because of his game changing ability.

    What this tells me, is:

    a. he is not suitable as an ONLY back on a team. Excels with an accompanying runner (as we know)

    b. possibly:

Yards are more important then td's when it comes to rushing. Being that we haven't had many goal line opportunities this year its hard for him to get a bunch of td's.

and its really pathetic/funny, when at first you bash him for not being able to get yards. Then when he does gets those yards and proves you wrong you absolutely cant stand it and you try to find anything else you can bash him on until he proves you wrong again.

    GTFO you blind hater!
