Sucks that McCarthy is out, who is his replacement?

Has Kendall Wright been getting more action in Britt's place?

Same thing happened to me.. I rolled my ankle as a SR in HS ('09) playing basketball, still flares up sometimes. I think I broke it and never got it fixed? Oh well..

Nah dude you'd know if it was broken. I broke mine and have 6 screws and a big steel plate.

Gonna have to get after Schaubb quickley and often. You can go ahead and play 2 deep safety but it'll do no good. Our secondary will get eaten alive if Schaubb has any time to throw. So, bring the house and bring it hard...take chances..corner blitzes etc. Gonna have to take chances on ST as well (maybe a punt fake, Kern is preatty athletic IMO). If the Titans can't put up 30+ points they'll have little chance to win. Would be nice to get one on the road.

LOL I was playing basketball when I rolled mine real bad. Yea, if it was broken you'd know it. Really bad sprains are pretty much damaged or bruised tendons and muscles. If I was McCarthy I would put a whole roll of tape on that ankle and stabelizing it enough to be able to play. He may look kind of funny when running but at least he'll be serviceable. :)

Let's hope our defense can tighten up this week otherwise it's going to be ugly. I don't see us being able to explode on Texas like we did the Lions....but then again, I didn't see us being able to handle the Lions like we did either so who knows but with no run game and a pretty porous defense I'd be happy if they just hold their own make a fight of it.

Ok I'm calling it, first play from scrimmage for the Texans tommorrow...play action > deep bomb > TD. I think the Titans will try and start the game with the mindset to set a precedent and say to the Texans that they are going to stop the run. Texans know this and will capitalize. If JG parks the safties in Arizona on the first play then we know we are screwed anyways.

Schaub has nightmares in two-tone blue hit him early and often and we win this game. They will run and we will give up yards and field goals and one TD to AJ to give them a late 22-21 lead. We will get a big play from Kendall or Nate for one TD, Jake will run one in and CJ will run one in, tack on a 48 yard game winning FG and we win 24-22 no need to watch the game folks
