Thats all CJ needs....

If VY had the mental capacity to run a offense we would have been Super Bowl champions in 2008.

 

As long as they started him that year we would have gone further in the playoffs no doubt in my mind. VY was good for us here. He won games and his last two seasons he was a very effective passer his numbers dont lie his last two seasons here!

 

Vince Young looked no better in the first game of '08 then he did the entire season before. Young became a better passer during that time but Collins was the best QB on our roster that year.

 

Most "efficient" not best. That clearly showed the next season!

 

Do you deny he isn't a complete and total failure? He is the one who said can't nobody teach him nothing, and he would be the next black QB to win a superbowl. He can't even win a 3rd string job. Give me a break.

 

Efficient does in fact mean best when talking about the QB position; an inefficient QB is a bad QB. Also, Collins was 36 that year it was obvious he didn't have many good seasons left in him. The point still stands the 2008 Kerry Collins >>>> 2008 Vince Young.

 

It is funny how when some of these players start to stink it up, ie...VY or now CJ it's always the coaches fault, or someone other than the player himself and IF he leaves the Titans they are going to show us all how great they really are and we're all going to be sorry...VY is the perfect example, he's probably washing dishes at his steakhouse as we speak! While the O-line is having problems with run blocking, I don't think CJ could out run an 80 year old lady with one leg at this point of his career! With perfect blocking CJ is a shell of what he used to be and living in the past doesn't do us any good at this point. If that were the case we should just bring back Eddie George since he "used" to be good.

And I think the line can still be good at run blocking but we need to ditch this zone blocking scheme and get back to a power run scheme which is what they've always done with a back that can actually hit the hole with a head of steam and break a tackle every once in a while!

My Madden superstar is pretty beast though.
