Chances are they won't make the playoffs unless they win the division.

True that. I know two teams possibly three come out of nfc west. And proly two outta nfc south.

I live half an hour away from San Fran, so thats all I hear out here is how "Great" the Niners are and how everyone has them @ #1 on the Power Rankings ... in a way im glad they are finally getting their due on ESPN and other outlets because they are the best fundamental team in the league. Excellent coaching staff and a hard-nose defense. The exact opposite of everything the Titans are. However I do like the Titans offensive potential maybe even a little more than San Fran but won't matter with out coaching staff and awful o-line. Niners are studs.

Whats more surprising is its basically the same team when coach Singletary was there. Goes to show how important a stud coaching staff can be and not just Harbaugh but top to bottom. Vic Sangio or whatever his name is, has been doing a great job as well.

I'm still shocked at the Alex Smith revival.

    Wow, what?

You've already decided that two or three teams from the NFC West are going to make it to the playoffs?

I still expect the Seahawks and Cardinals to miss, though they are clearly competitive teams... one of them might make it; not both.

And are you completely forgetting about the NFC North and NFC East?

falcons might be real.... i wished that's what the titans would look like.... little known defense.. awesome WRs... great QB...
instead, we got a crappy OL, which causes pressure on a young QB and cant block for a RB.. which forces a 3 and out... which gets the defense on the field more... which tires them more easily.. which gets scored on... then it goes back to the crappy OL... rinse and repeat...

off-subject, but did anyone remember matt ryan yelling "i'm about to take my pants off" when he had equipment malfunction due to his knee brace... i remember tweeting it and loling

    The post confused me too.

    I expect it will be

East will be Giants and Cowboys\Eagles
    South will be Falcons
    West will be 49ers
North will be Packers and Bears\Lions

Pretty similar to what I had originally predicted:

    Division winners:
    49ers
    Giants
    Bears
    Panthers

    Wildcard:
    Packers
    Eagles

I still say the Bears make the playoffs, but probably not as the division winner... I really underestimated ATL. Such a competitive conference unlike the AFC.

    Division winners IMO
    49ers
    Atlanta
    GB
    Giants

    Wild card
    Seahawks
    Panthers
That's what I was trying to say in my previous post two from west two from south.
Eagles and cowboys will implode as usual and Chicago and Detroit just won't have enough wins to getem in. That's just my opinion
