Better than thinking it's all gonna be fine and dandy from what we saw. As other have posted, these are basic throws that CJ is screwing up catching on. I could see if it was a VY toss at his shoelaces, but these are basic good throws.

It was really only one catch that was really bad that he should have had, the other one was off his fingertips and Locker zinged it in there pretty hard. I rewatched the first half today.

Might be time for a reality check for some of the posters.

CJ having a good year is gonna be one of our only hopes getting into playoffs.

It's pre season...it doesn't matter( just keep repeating that over in your head when you post horrible things about him... Try to remember how the redskins did in pre season in spurriers first year then in the regular season)

He's two years removed from 2000, him getting hurt cost us the playoff game against the ravens, and he had a 1000 plus yards last year. I feel most of the hate on here comes from how he dresses, talks, and how he got paid. Titans fans need to have a reality check when they post idiotic things like cut him. Jevon ringer isnt the answer you hoped for, sorry.

Even though it is preseason, it's easy to get frustrated with CJSideways.

Last season he held the team hostage over his contract. Once he came back, he stunk up the joint. Say what you will about, "Oh, he had 1000 yards last season!", but most of those came against teams like the Browns. Unfortunately, we don't have the cookies and cream schedule we had last year, so if CJ doesn't get his act together, he may not break 1000 yards.

"But it's just one preseason game!!!"

Yes, and last year the game in Jacksonville was only the first game of the season. The fact of the matter is, he looked EXACTLY like he did last year, same problems and everything. And he has the same response to his stinking it up.

After our first game last year it was something like, "only 1 game guys"
After this game it's "LOL preseason".

But I don't think he'll be "LOL"ing much longer if he continues to play like this. Really, since his specialty of getting to the outside seems figured out by everyone we play, we may be better off with a stable of power running backs.

Here's a reality check, CJ isn't near the same guy he was 3 years ago. He barely got 1000yds last year and didn't split carries.

I don't give a **** how he dresses or acts, I think he is one of the better 'character' guys. But right now I don't see him as a top 15 running back.
