    Earned?

Earning it would've been staying in Cleveland and winning there.

He is amongst the most hated athletes in all of sports because of "The Decision" and he deserves to be. Had he stayed in Cleveland he wouldn't be hated.

Haven't posted in a while, being neither a LeBron fan or hater, this is completely unbiased.

Miami was the better team. Was LeBron Jordan? No he wasn't but he was the best player in the Finals and showed it's his team, not Wade's. I just hope Deuce, being the only one in denial, can finally admit so.

And DW, LeBron didn't "disappear" in the fourth, he still ran the offense and stayed aggressive, last year he played hot potato with the ball.

Also, those two fouls you're complaining about, the one against Harden, please son, yeah he bumped him a little, but you obviously don't watch OKC games if you don't know Harden is one of the most notorious floppers in the league, he's on CP3 and Blake Griffin's level. That was no doubt a flop. The other one being the blocking call that you thought was a charge on LeBron. Umm, KD got that exact same call when he ran over his defender in one of the previous games. EXACT same thing.

The reason why OKC lost was 'cuz of OKC:

Coaching: Scott Brook's small ball philosophy wasn't working and he was too stubborn to make an adjustment. Fisher was useless, Ibaka and Collinson should have been on the court together more.

Perkins was exposed. Looks like Boston doesn't look so stupid after being quick to getting rid of their "glue" on defense.

Westbrook, despite having that one monster game, refusing to accept his role as KD's sidekick. Not that I think OKC should trade him, he's one hell of a talent, just needs to accept that he's not the best player on his team.

The most important player off the bench choking.

Ohh and yeah, your "golden boy" KD missing free throws late in the fourth quarter and throwing up bricks with LeBron in his face.

I will agree with you about the non-call on LeBron that should have sent KD to the line in game 2 (I think?) though at the end. But then again, it's not a guarantee he would have tied the game, look above where I said he missing a bunch of free throws.

Of course you'll disagree and tell me to actually watch the games and not just sportscenter lol.

P.S. OKC is actually my second favorite team and I was rooting for them to win, would have more entertaining for the league for LeBron to have wait another year before getting his ring. Storylines are what makes pro sports. LeBron not winning a championship was like The Bambino Curse in baseball, it was the biggest storyline in their respected sport, made it more entertaining, now the NBA is a little less exciting for me.

I just want to point out that the only two cHeat fans in this thread are Jesse and costarica.

I think that speaks for itself.

The ONLY one? Bro... look around. No one is giving Lebron credit here, because he doesn't deserve any.

It was handed to him. YOU can deny that if you want.

    He didn't?

In 5 games he made 9 FGs in the 4th... that's less than 2 per 4th quarter.

    Shooting percentage? 34%

He was 7/39 total from 10ft out. Pathetic.

TWO fouls? That's only the tip of the iceberg. Only bumped him a little? Maybe you missed Durant's first offensive foul of that game?

Durant barely lowers his shoulder. Heat player flops. Offensive foul.

    Fast forward:

Lebron shoulder checks at least twice- much harder. Harden flops. No call.

This was the summary of this series. Heat could do whatever they wanted- OKC merely tried to compete- FOUL.

Calling Harden out for flopping while the Heat has Lebron, and Shane Battier?... try again.

Because of the worst officiated series in the history of the NBA. That's what it's being labeled as... sorry, bro.

Seemed to work against the best team in the NBA. Wonder what changed?

Meh... had the refs been willing to call a single foul on all those drives, they win the game he had 43 pts in. And yes... almost all should have been called for fouls. Even commentators mentioned this.

Oh you're an ESPN fan, huh? You want to tell me something like Lebron played better in the 4th?... He didn't.

With this, I'll just assume you didn't watch the rest of the games only the highlights. If that was a foul- well, many others should have been called and were simply ignored. Again- Miami was able to play hockey while OKC couldnt even play Defense.
    One step ahead...

The NBA just lost it's audience. The gamble they took giving their boy a ring trying to save his image.

    Didn't work.

LeBron did not win the Finals. His team did. His team won it with him. Mike Miller did more for them than LeBron did.

    4th Quarter stats
    Game 1:
KD: 12 points and a couple of rebounds
LJ: 7 point a few rebounds
    Game 2:
KD: 13 points and about 10 missed shots (lil less but not much)
LJ: 6 points and a few rebounds
    Game 3:
KD: 4 points, One Ally Oop, and one jump shot... He had like 6 missed shots, a couple missed Free throws and a pair of turnovers.
LJ: 8 points, and a couple of rebounds.
    Game 4:
KD: 6 points along with a few turnovers
LJ: 6 points and sat for a minutes in the 4th

    Game 5:
KD: 6 points deflated and looked out of place
LJ: 6 points as well then removed with a few minutes left in the game

So if you consider just scoring alone the sole reason someone is better then I understand what you're trying to say, but Durant was not better than James overall. James was making the free throws, getting rebounds, and doing the little stuff Durant doesn't do. Durant like to just run around and score points, that's about it. He did score more in the first 2 games, but then it was pretty even scoring wise.

Durant didn't play poorly, Harden did though. Westbrook dominated one game, but that wasn't enough. I think the Thunder will definitely get another chance, but this year James did outplay Durant overall I'd say. I could see this being the Finals game again next year.
