Stadium Atmosphere

The Georgia Dome is awful. Half the people there aren't even facing the game people there are just hanging out it's really weird.

 

Teaching your kid that its "ok" to act like that in public is a fail parent.

 

The F word is so bad

 

Also, I actually went to several games in 99 and sat in many different spots DURING the games (family members and friends had people beside them leaving early, ect)


They were very loud and I didnt hear one person swear or act like a redneck. Screaming obscenities isnt exactly the same thing is a loud crowd screaming at the top of their lungs.

I know that respecting other people while you are around them is a novel concept to some of you, but it really does exist. Some of you whining cause people dont like you screaming obscenities, would be foaming at the mouth if two Tebow fans were behind you saying "God was with us on that drive, we scored!!!"


"what?!?!?!! You mean i cant scream **** **** *****" (and a few other words that will get censored. Its the people that dont like it that ruined the atmosphere!!!"

Thats just classic


Everytime you point your finger at someone, theres a few more pointed back at you.

 

There is nothing wrong with the F word. Most of us say it. For fun, or when we stub our toe.

However its ironic that some people here can sit here and actually whine and complain because someone doesnt like someone screaming obscenities, but doesnt think for a second to respect that other persons thoughts on it. Only what THEY think on how people should act matters.

 

Oh, about the noise

In 99, we were a NEW stadium, with MANY NEW fans, many of which were VERY excited to get our own stadium and our own team named the Titans, and we came out doing well. We were a damn good team and people noticed it. They had a reason to be excited. McNair was beginning his road to becoming a demi god in TN. Some people are still convinced Eddie George was one of the best ever. And everyone still dreams of having that defense we had back in 99 again. Lots to cheer for.

THAT is why this stadium was so loud. 99-00 were the loudest this team will ever be and it will not be matched again unless we go 8-0 and look unstoppable, then people will get loud and excited and screaming because band wagoners or not, they can be a loud bunch.

Its not the old person behind you. Its not the once in a blue moon idiot in the fans. If any of you want to ever hear the stadium be that loud again, then this team is going to have to give this state something to cheer that loud for again.

 

i dont curse around strangers or in public. you never know when your actions can benefit you and i really dont get my jollies off on offending people. but being told to sit down or not to chant, cheer, or boo and id lose my mind.

i agree they are just words, and they should not be offended by them but its just as easy for me not to use them in public.
