Only Jeff Fisher would be dumb enough to run a QB draw in the 4th with under a minute remaining and down by 2 TDs.

What? You mean when Hasselbeck was dealing with an injury?

So the point of this thread (in reality) is that an injured Matt Hasselbeck is as good as a healthy KFC. Gotcha.

Why does everything have to be about stats?

If you say KFC was just as good as Hasselbeck, I guess you could say Hasselbeck is just as good as Michael Vick.

    2011 Hasselbeck: 319/518 (61.6%), 3571 yds, 18 TD, 14 INT, 82.4 QBR
    2011 Vick: 253/423 (59.8%), 3303 yds, 18 TD, 14 INT, 84.9 QBR

Their stats are the same! They're the same players!!!

Its far more relevant to the conversation. Its what led to us signing Hasselbeck

    Has it come to this?...
It should be a complete joke to compare your teams starting QB to KFC, but comparing Hasselbeck to KFC isn't that far-fetched. There are similarities. I noticed this last year. Towards the end of the season I grew to loathe Hasselbeck's game play, but it didn't bother me too much, because after watching those pitiful performances last season I knew for certain that Jake would be starting this year. I should have known that, over time, some of this teams fan base and the media would warm back up to the old washed up veteran. It was the same way with KFC. MH may not be quite as bad as KFC, but he's getting there and I don't want him to be our starting QB when he finally hits rock bottom. You can talk all you want about his experience and his knowledge of the game, but those things alone don't win you championships. I don't understand what it is about Hasselbeck's play that makes people think that the 8th overall pick should be holding the clipboard for another year. If it wasn't for the Texans handing us the last game we would have gone 8-8 again, and that's with an easy schedule. Aren't you people tired of average yet? I'm ready for our team to compete with the real teams in the league. If they trot MH back out there this season it's only moving the team back a year. It's time to move on. Jake is not getting any better riding the bench.

    Hasselbeck lit up the Ravens.

    /thread

And don't come back saying "it's only because he had Britt." The same can be said for the bum KFC who benefited from Britt's 225 yard, 3 TD performance against the Eagles. KFC would've thrown for 75 yards and 4 INTs against the Ravens.
