I don't consider myself an expert. And although guys like Kiper, Mayc0ck, etc often come off as boobs, I consider their experience to make their opinions more knowledgable than my own.

A solid #3?! He's one of the best #2 WRs in the league and proved that he can be a legit #1 if needed.

Oh, I agree. Of course, these "experts" aren't knowledgeable enough to land a job with an actual team, either. I'd value NFL employee's opinions over the "expert's" opinion. Or, is that too ego-centric?

The NFL coaches and general managers are the real experts. They are right by default. Mel Kiper has never worked in football. His opinion is worth way, way less than the opinion of the Titans front office.

Who were both first-round, top ten picks?

BTW, Amano was a late-round pick. "Coaching 'em up" didn't get it done and, based on the parade of free agent OL who have visited this spring, Munch and Bruce know the interior wasn't/isn't what it needs to be.

I'm going to put my trust in Webster and support the pick but I had serious visions of DeCastro pancaking guys for the next 10 years.

I like to think of Amano as the exception.

Lets not sweat it, like I said before. Only worry when it is round 7 and we still do not have a new center.

Another example of the "experts" not mattering: Kiper and Mayock spoke last night about how stunned they were that the Seahawks would draft Bruce Irvin. Kiper called the pick "mind boggling."

Today, it comes out that the Jets, Ravens and 49ers (three teams who are generally pretty good at drafting) were all going to take him in the 1st. Source

The "expert" big boards mean very little.

Thats a good thought. Wright may create more space for CJ than DeCasto would have. (I know teams stopped stacking the box on CJ last year, but I'm hoping they'll have to again soon, and can't).

I'm glad at least to see us moving in the direction of the modern NFL... electric offense.

I think my initial disappoinment was largely due to having spent an hour hoping DeCastro would fall, then him doing so.

He proved he can be a #1 WR if he needs to be. I think that's a fact after watching his performance throughout last season.

Name five #2 WRs who are better.

EDIT: I'm about to have to give Alex a free high-five because it's actually going to be really easy to name five #2 WRs better than Nate. I should've said name ten. Dammit.
