D-Will will be a back-up and red zone target. Hawkins will be guy that catches short passes and helps us keep possession of the football. Wright will be the slot receiver and will be given opportunities for big plays. Britt and Washington will do what they usually do and ball out. Washington has gone up in my estimations so much after last season.

Could be worse, we could have been Seahawks or Browns fans.

I mean, I don't really like the pick, but..

    1) Our FO clearly thought he was BPA; and half the people on these boards are always like "just take BPA!!" Browns would have took him apparently, and so we made them panic and take the biggest bust IMO in the draft.

    2) Judging from last years draft, I trust the FO. The guy can play, obviously. I don't have any doubts at all he will be a good WR. I just think Mercilus is basically JPP 2.0

    3) Wright put up numbers that made him arguably the safest WR in the draft. He is deceptively quick and has great hands. His 40 time isn't impressive, but if you have seen him play, you know what I mean. His pad speed is impressive and most college DBs simply couldn't stay on him. He isn't fast, like Mike Wallace fast. But he is quick. I like the pick, considering all of our WRs on roster are the "strech the field" type, in the slot, this kid could be like Wes Welker, but probably more athletic.

    4) My boy Mercilus went to Houston, FML.

I don't think you'll find very many that say Kendall Wright is the SAFEST pick in the draft.

I'm excited to see what Wright can do, but I still don't love the pick.

Remember we said that about Newton...and he looked pretty good last year as a rookie even though Carolina wasnt really loaded...

I have a really, really hard time seeing how Hawkins will even get on the field.

No more stacking the box vs CJ2K. You can't stack the box and let Britt, Nate, Wright, and Cook run 1v1 everyplay. Opening up the pass game may be huge for CJ.

What type of impact would Decastro really make? I hate taking OLs in the first round. They'll just grab one in the 2nd round, and focus on D after that. I like this pick A LOT.

I know a lot of you guys really like hawk and Dwill. But I think when the Titans made this pick they were thinking playmaker. IMO neither hawk or dwill are that.

Although I definitely wanted the Titans to address the WR position in the draft...I was expecting that to happen in rounds 2-3. Definitely shocked they went at 20

He might try to get 11 from Rusty Smith. But yeah, 81 seems like a good bet.
