Am I the only one who's not satisfied with Curry?

Don't mistake my criticisms of him for hate, I like him, but just not enough to be on my favorite team at 20.

I believe they think they adequately filled all positions of need giving them the ability to go BPA. If that happens to be a Kendall Wright, Michael Floyd, Dont'a Hightower, Luke Kuechly, or Mark Barron dont be suprised. They may be solid at all of these positions but not complete. They could still use another great WR, an enforcing LB or safety. We will be losing depth at all of these positions in the near future.

Personally, Im not worried about who the Titans take @ 20 because many talented players will still be available there. Of course I still have my preferences. I'm more worried how we plan to use the player.

I normally agree with you JC, but not on Curry.

I love the guy, but I dont think anyone is talking about taking him at 20. Second Round absolutely.
The play that impresses me most was the 30 yard dash he made chasing down the running back to make that tackle, I guess that goes in the high motor column. He also does a nice job of changing the tempo, and has a few different moves. Was his 3-cone not awesome at the combine?

    Anyway,

    1st- Brockers
    2nd- Curry

I'll be doing backflips and we can get back to having a dominating D-line.

Yeah, def not at 20. Would LOVE him with our 2nd, but I doubt he'll be there.

I don't think anybody here is arguing Curry at 20 but round 2 yes

Curry is my 2nd favorite DE in this draft to Branch. Curry had 8 forced fumbles this season and got the the QB an amazing 28 times in 2010, 12 sacks, 16 hurries. You can't ignore those kinds of numbers.

Like Branch he can step right into a 4-3 situation since that is what they played in college.

Curry had a horrible 40 time at the combine but made up for it with a solid 4.69 on his pro day. Curry and Branch are solid 4.70 type guys who run a sub 1.60 split and have the size to play DE for us.

The forced fumble trailing the back against Florida international was sick. This guy can play!

    Rd 1. Branch or Curry

    Rd 2 Reyes or Wolf

I'm only warm on Barron in rd 1. Against drafting a CB in rd 1. I understand the point about Hightower but i don't think we will take him for reasons of scheme and the fact we already have our MLB of the future. Luke Kuechly is the best defensive player in the draft so he is my first choice but won't likely be there.

Building our defensive line with athletic guys the way the Giants have makes the most sense based on who we think will be there. This is the draft where we can do that.

Everyone talking about Wolfe made me look into him more. Reminds me of Rien Long.

This is the kind of impact player you want in the first rd. The speed off the edge, the way he gets that shoulder down coming around the corner. Gets his pads down against the run and has great balance when running laterally. Good instincts.

Andre Branch is the kind of impact player you want with that 20th pick not some good to decent DT to add to the rotation. This guy can be a star! None of the DTs we have talked about have that type of potential.
