I found it interesting that many of the early mock drafts have the Titans taking a variety of players. With just little over a month to go, here is a list of who the "experts" have the Titans selecting. I thought we could run our own polls to last until March 25 so we can come back and see how much it's changed the day before the NFL Draft on April 26.

Mel Kiper, ESPN: David DeCastro, Stanford guard
Todd McShay, ESPN: David DeCastro, Stanford guard
Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: Mark Barron, Alabama safety
Pat Kirwan, CBS Sports: Whitney Mercilus, Illinois defensive end
Rob Rang, NFL DraftScout: Fletcher Cox, Mississippi State defensive tackle
Dane Brugler, CBS Sports: Dre Kirkpatrick, Alabama cornerback
Clark Judge, CBS Sports: Whitney Mercilus, Illinois defensive end
Steve Wyche, NFL Network: Peter Konz, Wisconsin center
Albert Breer, NFL Network: Fletcher Cox, Mississippi State defensive tackle
Charley Casserly, NFL Network: Michael Brockers, LSU defensive tackle
Chat Reuter, NFL Network: Nick Perry, USC defensive end
WalterFootball.com: Michael Brockers, LSU defensive tackle
Matt Vensel, Baltimore Sun: Janoris Jenkins, North Alabama cornerback

Whether it was a smoke screen or not saying they wouldnt take OL in the 1st I would like to see Konz picked if he's on the board. He along with the bookend tackles and with the pickup of Hutch we have one of the top 5 OLines in the leauge.

If Brockers is there, it's no question. His DC at LSU was John Chavis and he said Brockers was the most talented player he had ever coached on the d-line. Chavis used to be the DC at UT and coached Haynesworth and John Henderson

The only reason I wouldn't go DT in the 1st is because it's such a deep position this year.

Before the Wimbley signing, I would have said Nick Perry.

If we go o-line, I hope it's DeCastro and not Konz.

Still a big need. Morgan isn't good and looks like he's worth nothing more than a depth player.

I say we go with DE Nick Perry, and here's why.

Morgan may have all the potential in the world (that's how I feel anyways), but if he can't stay healthy or still doesn't trust his knee, he won't be around long. And Wimbley is only about 255 which is on the smaller side for a 5-technique DE. He may be a good run stuffing LB, but he may have some issues getting off blocks early on the same way Jason Jones did. Perry can come in and take over if Wimbley struggles.

Nick Perry can slide inside at times if need be, so IMO that's who we go with. He's fast and physical enough to play all 4 spots on the D-Line.

I'll eat my hat if Konz is taken as early as 20.
C's just don't go that soon.

I didn't watch a lot of college football this last season, but I have to think the front office will go best defensive lineman available.

In fact, this whole draft should be focused on defense.

I'm willing to give him one more season, but I'm certain you're right. He just hasn't been impressive at all even when on the field.
