I really like Cordy Glenn. The only way I see us drafting him is if we plan on him replacing Roos in several yrs when roos's contract is up. Play him at og now and then move him out to lt in a few yrs.

I agree. I like Glenn maybe more than DeCastro for that reason. In a few years Roos and Stewart will both reach the end of their contracts and a guy like Glenn could step into either spot if we couldn't retain one of them. Before then he could be a backup for both spots if we have na injury. Meanwhile we get a real stud IMO at RG who I think has the chance to be similar to Carl Nicks.

I think Roos will get a 3rd contract once his deal runs out in 2014. That would put him at 31 and a 4 year deal would put him with us til he's 35. Roos has been injury free so far (knock on wood) and see no reason why he can't play with us until his mid- 30's.

Stewart on the other hand has had injury history and I doubt we will resign him when his deal is up. If we draft Glenn to slot into the tackle spot it willl be to replace Stewart at RT.

Cordy Glenn wont play tackle in the NFL. He is too big and not quick enough. He gets beat around the edge too consistently. I believe they tried this at the senior bowl.

He is however an outstanding gaurd who projects almost as well as DeCastro. Hes big, strong, and I hear what is most impressive is his footwork.

Additionally, he has broken a Georgia record with 50 starts. He rarely injures which shows how athletic he is for as big as he is.

I would love if we drafted him @ 20.

I see us addressing the center position with out 2nd round pick, leaving our first rounder for DE and our third rounder for DB or LB.

Well nothing in the draft now what? We still need a center!
