Peyton is a smart business man. He makes a ton via endorsements and, in a couple of years, 100% of his income will be business investments. He's not going to disappoint his fans or business interests by blowing off a visit to Tennessee to hear out the franchise.

If this is just about football, how does the Titans give him anything more than what he'd get in Denver who has a much better defense and weaker division?

All i am saying is the reasons many speculate Manning would want to play for Tennessee are the same ones for why he came here for the visit.

Even with my NO vote..I disagree. I think there are a lot of things working in the Titans favor that makes them appealing to Peyton

With that said whatever his decision is...I truly hope he makes it SOON

He has people hired to worry about PR. I heard that part of his negotation is that Rock Top be played pre-game and at half time. :)

No. I'm saying his ties with Tennessee is why the Titans got a visit.

Bud Adams is an NFL legend, of course Manning would hear him out...he didn't want to disrespect anyone. Manning has more to work with in Denver and I think he knows it. The defense is better, the division is easier and he doesn't have to play the Colts twice a year. I reluctantly warmed up to having Manning as our QB after I saw all of the national attention that our team was getting. I don't think we should all lose sight of the bigger picture: we aren't ready to be a true SB contender. Our defense is more or less in shambles, our offensive line is falling apart, we have an injury prone star WR and our RB is a bum. Peyton will not choose us and WE WILL be better for it. I just hope the waiting game doesn't ruin our chances of picking up key free agents in the process.

You shouldn't have that mind set my friend. I remember thinking that the year we went 10-0.

If anything this is definitely our year because of how close we are to filling some holes.

Let's be honest, teams that win the superbowl have holes too, its just how they compensate for it that matters. that and luck.

People keep saying Denver has more to work with, how? Please explain how denver has a better line, a better RB, better WR/TE's, I agree that they have a better D but come on, Peyton won and won big with average or worse D's in indy for years and years.

    We BEAT Denver last year

We beat them with a young team and an inexperienced coaching staff. I think we are still a better overall team than Denver when it comes down to it.
