I'm all for an open competition, but if it is close you have to go with Locker. He is the future.

Hasselbeck played somewhere between decent to good last year, and while that is a lot better than what we had with KFC and VY in previous years, its not good enough to keep your future QB on the bench. Hass will never put this team over the hump to be a PO or SB contender. He might not hurt our chances, but he isn't going to do much to help either. Hass is a mediocre QB, that is all. There are so many people that complain about the FO and coaching staff being mediocre, that is exactly what Hass is. He did a great job for us last year bridging the gap with a new HC, OC and no off-season, but that is not what we need going forward.

Locker taking that sack at the end of the game stung really bad, but only because we were so close to winning that game ... because of LOCKER. Tell me, which is worse, your ROOKIE QB making a ROOKIE mistake (that he will learn from) that cost us a game that we should have never even been in, or your VETERAN QB throwing short of the sticks every 3rd down and going 3 and out about 10 times a half for 4 or 5 straight games. Locker's sack stung, but sometimes hasselbeck was just infuriating. And we don't gain anything from hass's stupid mistakes, at least Locker is young can still learn from them. Besides, Locker just brings an energy to the team that Hass doesn't.

In short ... go with Locker, he is the Future

Sure he does. It looks like the number 3, a number 5, and two 0's all squished together.

And let us not forget, Vince said he would be the next black QB to win a Super Bowl. And he's going to the HoF if you didn't know.

One of the WR's (I think it was Hawk) got TRIPPED and the refs didn't call it. I was pretty pissed off when I saw the replay.

You can find the play on YouTube somewhere. Go watch the DB stick his hip and knee out to trip the guy.

Did Becky throw four interceptions to lose to the Seahwaks? I don't think so! You make CostaRica look like Marc Rubio.

No but Hass sure as hell didn't do anything against the Saints who had a worse defense in my eyes. If I remember correctly two of Vince's pics in that game bounced off the receivers hands. You can't blame that on the qb although he made some horrendous throws at the end of the game. Those probably came out of frustration with his receivers most likely.

Listen, I coined the phrase Checkdown Becky, I am no Becky booster, but comparing him to a headcase who went 1-2 last year is frankly asinine.
