Depending on getting Mario I think Curry could be a potential pick of the Titans in the 1st round. He has a good blend of size and explosiveness and what flaws he does have can be coached. I think we will see him move up the draft boards with good workouts and he is a perfect fit as a weak side DE for us with Morgan taking the other side.

I'd love to see us pick up Amini Silatolu in the 3rd round (some predict he will go as high as the 2nd). A perfect off season IMO is to sign Mario and one of the Cs, Wells or Myers. Wells is going to be leaving GB because of thier CAP situation (which means they might be grabbing Konz if he is still on the board for their pick) and Wells played at UT for what it is worth. He would be a perfect fit for us.

Then we are free to really go after value along with need. Obviously one of the DTs would be of interest. I like Jerel Worthy who has a similar game to Casey but a little bigger (6'3, 310). Very disruptive, commands double teams and is a great fit.
2nd round might be a good place to grab Bobby Wagner if he can prove his speed is sufficient to play on the outside as our WLB. That solidifies our front 7 on the defense and opens the opportunity to go OG in the 3rd or 4th rounds. Amini Silatolu in the 3rd makes it a perfect off-season to that point.

Jordan Babineaux, Tom Zbikowski, and a 4th Round safety for depth.

There really isn't a FS worth taking before the 4th round (I see better options as noted earlier) unless they think Barron can be the guy or move Babs to FS and pick Barron to play SS. So it is possible we pass on a DT in the first and take Barron if he is on the board.

But I figure their plan is to sign or tag Griff which is what I based my assumptions on. Not sure we will spend money on a another FA FS and we probably take one later in the draft hoping to find a diamond in the rough.
If we tag Griff, sign Babs and extend McCourty (which I think thy need to do if Finny leaves) we have the pieces in place for this year and will use the draft to improve our CB and S depth. Based on the draft we might see Verner moving inside as the NB. We can speculate the possibility of moving Campbell to FS and grooming him this year with Griff tagged as a long term possibility at FS but who knows. Campbell might also be the guy on the outside (or Hawkins) when Verner moves inside in the nickel.

Unfortunately I think that's the route we go. There is no safety in this class other than Barron and no upgrade in free agency. I think we essentially just rent him for the year with the franchise tag and wait for next year's crop.
