I do like games but rarely play them. I read a lot.

Gaming, I can't stand reading to be honest, kinda wish I could but don't have the patience for it.

Depends on the book for me. If it is an amazing book i'll much rather read than play a game, but there are few books that are that good to me. I grew up doing a ton of both so it's pretty even for me.

Reading. iPad is one of the greatest facilitators of literature since the printing press!

I game some, but really only enjoy FPS games. Was REALLY into the Halo series, just couldn't get into others. Gaming is a great diversion and stress reliever, but just doesn't compare to the enrichment I receive from reading.

I used to read mostly non-fiction (science, periodicals, natural history, farming manuals, equipment manuals, "how-to" books, etc) but now I am reading more fiction. Formerly fervent on Game of Thrones series but fatiguing a bit on last publication.

Chronologically 46yo, but limited maturity level.

    23 and books.

Haven't had a system since my freshman year in college (besides the Wii, and it's just an expensive paper weight).

That's what friends are for! Ha

neither..rather be out backpacking in my free time. Although I did get Kindle for Christmas. It may end up on some backpacking trips if I can find some good books on backpacking to read

24 and gaming. And I don't even game that much, I prefer the outdoors. I'm one of the few weirdos that actually enjoys going for a run.

As for books, I'd rather just watch the movie.

    24, books/movies

I think movies are my vice. I watch at least one per day (whether its in the morning, afternoon or night). That keeps me from gaming (plus, I don't own a gaming console but opted to buy a Blu-Ray player instead).

Plus, I've found that gaming is for bros and dorks (no offense, guys).

24.. (cant believe that most people on the board is around my age)
i half expected most of them to be gamers because "we're men"...
i'm both... but since i can't afford games and books are much more affordable (plus i get some theology books for free) ... i'd have to go with books
