Never really liked this guy, he has better targets than 90% of the NFL but is still pretty mediocre. I know the feelings about Hasselbeck vary here, but imagine if he was throwing to Tony G', Roddy White, and Julio Jones this year, with Michael turner running the ball....I bet he'd be in the pro-bowl.

He seems to have regressed a bit since the Packers playoff game last year, but this thread reeks of homerism.

I didn't like Ryan in college and thought he had bust written all over him. He's not a bust but in a lot of ways he's worse than that. He's not nearly bad enough to lose his job but where as a bust sets your team back 3-5 years, having a loser at QB can set you back as many as 10 years. I mean look at Mike Vick, he's never gotten it done in the playoffs yet he was the starter in Atlanta for how long? So when you got a loser at QB who's not bad enough to bench you just keep riding them and riding them and it never happens for you.

Mike Vick did make it to the NFC Championship game against the Eagles one year.

True, but that's really the only playoff success he ever had. Funny thing is, stupid Falcons fans still cling to that, and clung to that when he was really awful. I think race played a role but whatever. Just overall he hasn't had success in the playoffs. Even last year he threw the game ending pick in the playoffs did he not?
