I really like Jerry Gray, but I just think we need more from our HC than Munchak is giving us right now. I would do anything for Cowher, or anyone with a pulse really.

There is one point to keepng him, and that is not to sart a revolvng door of coaches.

If we cant commit to a coach for atleast 2 or 3 seasons, things can only get worse.

What has Rivera done better than Munchack? The Panthers have been horrible on defense this year which is his specialty and they have blown games big in the 2nd half.

Their personnel on offense is better than what the titans have.

    Munchack 1-0 vs Rivera..

Everybody wants to bash Munchack and Palmer and give Grey a pass. Why? Our run defense has been horrible all year long. A team that doesn't run the ball well at all gashed us today.

Improving against the run was supposed to be the #1 priority for this defense.

Well if we hired the right coach then it wont be a problem.

    Beating the Colts.

The Panthers DID win 2 games last year did you expect their defense to magically turn into the 85 Bears? He's already got them at 3 more wins than last year and the seasons not over yet. And even at just 5 wins they're not an automatic W anymore like last year, they're in a lot of their games. He also turned a guy who I figured would be a sure fire bust who even in college wasn't that accurate of a QB into a legit NFL starter. If Munchak was coaching the Panthers he's probably have Derek Anderson starting because he's the reliable vet.

while I agree with your point EVERYONE does not have the opinion you gave your strawman

Gray is going too have too flip some personnel in order too get bigger up front on D. fishface left a bunch of undersized DLmen when he left. The bashing of MM is warranted. He promised accountability and there has not been a sniff of it. The bashing of Pamer is the same bashing every OC gets and then toss in the inconsistencies of CJ and Cook combined with Britt changing diapers or whatever it is hes been doing since he got an owie.

Munchak as a coach is more conservative than Fisher. If we were going to fire Fisher then we needed to bring someone from outside the program to be the coach and not a Fisher disciple that thinks the same way. This team needs a new philosophy on how to do things

BA really believed it was not necessary.

I dont think that will happen while BA is still running things.

Palmer's situational playcalling is atrocious and it was he who took a pretty good power blocking Oline and made it into a piss poor zone blocking Oline...

Jeez, the play calling was so predictable that even an 0 - 13 team coulda beat us. Oh. They did.
