I could use every one of those excuses for the past 3 years as the reason you guys beat us.

    :)

    And you know it's true.

Gonna tune in to the iron bowl just to help it's ratings so Hoffa can use them in an argument as to why it's the greatest rivalry in college football again.

We didn't go out and try to get Luke Fickell, we kinda got forced into using him. Regardless. I was expecting a loss so I'm happy we kept it close and showed these SEC homers what a REAL rivalry game looks like.

Hint: It's not a 9-6 game decided in OT.

I don't think Fickel is bad, but he just did the one thing you cant do if you want to keep your job at OSU.

Bring Meyer. His spread will never work in the B10.

Here's the problem with Fickell. He's not a bad option if a minor team like Bowling Green, Central Florida, Syracuse, Virginia, or Tennessee for example needed a coach but for a big time program? No, he's not cut out for that. The Michigan loss I can forgive actually, the biggest issue I had with him was a overall bad offense all year and the blown loss against Nebraska and that sad home loss to Penn State. Even that Miami loss looks worse now. That and the defense got worse by the week, culminating today with a really bad showing.

I disagree about Meyer though. Rodriguez's biggest problem with the spread was is defense was so awful. Meyer always has a good defense. He's also worked really well with QBs. Miller would be perfect for him.

On second thought, I think Saints Row 3 would be more fun. But I'll leave the Iron Bowl on anyway so I can hear all the excitement of college football's best rivalry in the background, as well as a blowout.

So much for your 9-6 BS prediction. Unless you're referring to LSU vs Alabama, which is not what we were discussing.. unless you're that dense.

    ZzZzzz

edit: What's the difference in keeping it close in a high scoring game vs keeping it close in a low scoring game? Nice logic to think your game was better LOL.

Rich Rod's spread worked against the high school teams on the schedule- it wont work vs the bigger guys.

Meyer will actually have to recruit in Ohio too. In Florida you only have to answer the doorbell.
