Pass Rush needs the biggest upgrade I think. I like Casey and his future is bright but that's not enough there. I've been pretty disappointed with signings like Smith and Ruud (at LB, I know not DL).

WR needs depth but I think interior OL is a bigger need.

True. My hope is that we don't reach on any of our big needs and waste more picks. If someone is there that's got even a slightly higher turn out value (yes I know this is hard to read properly and it's. Also a touch of luck) take em over the glaring need. Nothing with great upside but high risk please. Aka vontaze burflict... People view him as the second coming of ray Lewis... He won't be half as good unless his coverage skill gets at least average... Big hitter ... But over pursues to often and has nada for coverage. One trick pony. I'll pass. We drafted a MLB last year anyways and it's hard to believe he would come ^in and start over him.

*IF there is an explosive player on the board when we pick, I would take em. I wouldn't even bother worrying about the position. Such as if we got the chance to draft blackmon, there would be ^no sense ^in passing the opportunity.

Totally agree, dude is a freaking stud. Him and Kenny would be unstoppable and give Jake a pair of great WRs to work with.

Yeah, it wouldn't be that hard. Morgan would be the biggest questions. As for ILB, we'd have WW and Burfict, not bad.

I think we'll have a top 15 pick. We need a pass rusher really bad, a playmaker at LB, a starting SS, interior lineman, and some WR depth.

    I think we'll be picking 15th overall

    1. Jonathan Martin: OT - Stanford
    2. Michael Floyd: WR - Notre Dame
    3. Ben Jones: C - Georgia
    4. Marcus Forston: DT - Miami
    5. Ryan Broyles: WR - Oklahoma
    6. Tony Dye: S - UCLA
    7. Denard Robinson: ATH - Michigan

Ryan Broyles IMO would be a steal if we can get him in the later rounds. He just tore his ACL so he'll probably slip from the 2nd-3rd round projection he had. A guy like Wright/Floyd/Jeffrey/Blackmon, big tall physical receivers who can stretch the field, and then a possession guy like Broyles would set us up nicely.

I think will have a better pick than 15 but will see.

not taking free agency into account and seeing as were not going to try making any scheme changes anytime soon our best draft will be something like.......

    1st round-Quinton Coples-DE-North Carolina-
we suck at getting to the QB and seeing as were not going to get creative with our blitzes Coples seems to the best option to help us get pressure on the QB

    2nd round-Jerel Worthy-DT-Michigan State
Shaun Smith was a pitiful attempt at solving our DT problems. Worthy has a decent enough pass rush to be an upgrade and would make a nice pair with casey

    3rd round-Ben Joness-C-Georgia
i believe he might fall to the 3rd and if he does he will be our first step to making our offensive line respectful again

    4th round-Winston Guy jr-SS-Kentucky
everybody knows we need a SS and Winston will be the best we can get at this stage in the draft. he is a solid athlete who in a years time could be a solid starter

    4th round(comp)-Jermaine Kearse-WR-Washington
we need WR depth pretty bad. kearse has good size (6-2 205) and also runs well. having jake lockers old primary WR could be good for him and he has the making of a potential sleeper

    5th round-DJ Holt-ILB-California
With Ruud hopefully gone we will need a backup for McCarthy and perhaps some competition. Holt would be a good pick here as he was overshadowed by mike mohammed his junior year but has silently been productive in his college career

    6th round-Stephen Good-OG-Oklahoma
depth cant hurt and he should be a quality backup who can play more than 1 position on the OL

    7th round-Tashaun Gibson-CB-Wyoming
    could always use more depth

this draft may be a tad bit hopeful but its possible and it would clearly help us. perhaps with a few pickups in free agency (a WR to run with britt, a starting OG unless velasco is up to the challenge, and a starting strong safety until guy is ready to step in) we could be a real playoff contender. if our QB play can hold up that is.

This is a dream draft but NO way Broyles falls that far. He could be on crutches through the combine and draft and get taken higher that the 5th. Before he was hurt he was a sure first 1st rounder and probably 3rd off the board after Blackmon and Jeffrey. But if we could get him AND Floyd, we'd be set for years at the position.
