i believe not having training camp and not practicing all that time really effected him. I wouldnt say he isnt trying, hes just not good right now, his burst, his vision is awful which translates into us watching him thinking he isnt trying. I mean we have seen Cj run outside and get tackled by safties and corners his whole career, now its DL and LBs coming for the kill shot, no wonder hes curling up like a b****. Id say forget this year with him, do a RB by committee, and give him a shot next year with full camp n everything. I bet he will show up

All good points, but in all fairness Chris Johnson is not Vince Young or Eddie George. The abilities he's displayed since 2008 have never been seen before. This slump he's in will pass once we get an NFL center up front. I know you don't fully understand the nuances of the game, but this kind of stuff happens to all great players. And FYI I'm not one of those Chris Johnson nut-swingers, I've said dozens of times he needs to sit til he gets out of this funk.

Really, i've played more football with and against NFLers than you can even imagine. Not to mention I coach with 2 former players. Give you're opinion where you feel necessary, but if you really want to compare a resume, i suggest you look elsewhere.

I'm not jumping on that train, I'm just not giving up on the guy. Watch what happens to Foster, Forte, DeAngelo Williams going forwards. They're not all just all of a sudden going to suck. There were days people wondered what happened to Steven Jackson. The defenses find ways to limit what all great players can do. C.J. will have to adjust his game to this scheme we now use. Thank Dinger for jacking that up BTW.

Was it not you who told me just 5 days ago how McCourty and Jones were not good? Those 2 looked damn good to me this past weekend.

And you can't hang with me dude, I have way more gotitan points than you do.

CJ's not even really running with conviction this year. That's the difference, IMO. He's getting caught in the open field by LBs and DEs. Regardless of scheme he should be able to beat those guys.

Yea I agree, he's running like he's out on a nice Sunday morning jog through the park. At some point that hunger should return and he can slice-n-dice defenses again. We've got people on here saying cut him cause of that. That's insane to cut him cause he's bored.

No, I said that Jones and Griffin had to be in the discussion for most disappointing Titans Defenders. Was I way off in suggesting this? after all, Jones did get benched on Sun against the Colts, and Griffin has been extremely horrible for over a year now.

Yes, Jones looked good this weekend finally.

he got paid. this is why i wish they would wait until the contract is over before giving more money. if teams would stop caving and giving into the holdouts, holdouts will stop.

dont break your leg jumping off the fanwagon. I hope he pulls a Damien Nash myself. That way the Titans can reclaim some of that CAP
