Me and my fiancé are Flying out to Nashville next Friday to spend the weekend together. We are going to the game Sunday so that night is taken up.

But we will be there Friday night, all day Saturday, Sunday and leave Monday. I am 21 and she is 20. What stuff is there to do in Nashville for us? She thought about the zoo but don't know if it is worth it. Don't just wanna walk around Nashville as we have done that before with my parents last year. Looking for some stuff to do.

    Thanks for the help

We are both into all kinds of music. A tour of the city would be cool. Any restaurants that we should go eat at. Would like to do things and eat at places that are like a Nashville only type of thing

Cruds can put you on all kinds of local places. If it is country cooking, you need to head over to Elliston Place Soda Shop for lunch. Be sure to get some banana pudding.

There are lots of places (meat 'n threes). I think there is a thread here already on lots of places to eat.

As for tours, there are those that go out to the home of the stars. I've never been on one so can't recommend any in particular. The Nash Trash tour is popular but I think you have to book that well in advance.

You have the Country Music Hall of Fame and Frist Center (art museum) all within walking distance of downtown.

There are lots of music places all along lower Broadway if you like country. The Station Inn does bluegrass. Exit/In and 12th and Porter have live bands.

I'd check to see if the Predators are playing at home if you like hockey. That's always a good time and walking distance from any downtown hotel.

Lots of good info here: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Tourism-g55229-Nashville_Tennessee-Vacations.html

On Sunday, join us for the tailgate before the Bengals game.

Elliston Place Soda Shop closed, but Rotiers is still open down the road.

Actually, they are still open for lunch. I was there just last week. And Rotiers is an unique place as well.

    3. ... .. . yeah. Well, we have 2 sports teams at least.

I'm going to open a skate club in nashville. It'll be like club 54 but with roller skates. Booze, hookers, and skates. Find a better combo for fun times.

I think we are gonna go to the zoo early Saturday. She really wants to go and her major is zoology so she loves animals. I read online there is supposed to be a carnival that day for Finnegans charity group. Some titans and cheerleaders are gonna be there. But pretty sure its just for kids.

Have any of y'all gone? Was is good? Still trying to decide what to do the rest of the day Saturday.

And where is the tailgate at? We are probably gonna stop by on sunday

Can check out Yazoo and do a Brewery tour...if like quaint downtown's, you can drive out to Franklin. Bar hop on broadway and hit Roberts and Tootsies. See if the Doyle and Debbie show is still at the Station Inn. No shortage of music for sure and alot of them are world class instrumentalists as well.
