If nothing else I think the fact that when we NEEDED to run the ball at the end of the game we called Ringer's number instead of Johnson's. He looked to be a little upset when they showed him on the sideline with Nate Washington saying something to him. I think Nate was trying to cheer him up but I don't know.

((Unrelated side note: thank god someone other then Hasselbeck is taking a leadership role on this offense.))

Yeah I was thinking that as well. That has to hurt CJ's pride I would think, but it was the right move. Ringer seems to move the ball forward more...he is not going to get the 80 yard TD run, but he keeps the ball going forward. With CJ it has seemed to be either a loss or big gain (more former than latter this season).

And I wholeheartedly agree with the receiver comment...he actually appears to be a good weapon in the pass game.

    Explosive is power and speed.

Think about it. An explosion is fast and powerful.

I was it. He had a cutback lane once and the lb or safety made a good tackle. I don't see these consistent huge holes you speak of though.

That's because they aren't always huge. It's the NFL...you aren't always going to have a gaping hole to run through..you either make the hole bigger or you squeeze through it with speed. CJ can no longer get through the smaller holes with speed...or he chooses not to..

Ringer has some speed, and some power. How CJ is running right now, he has no speed, and no power. Doesn't that make Ringer more explosive?

lol...never said Ringer was super fast...although he is quicker and faster than most on this forum have given him credit for.

All I said is that Ringer is more explosive than CJ...which is currently true.

He is being explosive at the line... Cj is normally explosive thru the hole... ^no great holes means less explosion via Johnson... Different backs entirely people
