I suppose, but how can you judge whether a person will be injured all the time? He wasn't injured in College to my knowledge... I guess hindsight is 20/20.

:) It wouldn't surprise me if you were unaware that Jeff Fisher has a history of these situations.

I really do not see how you guys can justify not having good receivers with a new quarterback sometime soon. Lets just not invest in our future at all.

He was pretty healthy racking up receptions in 31 consecutive games at Rutgers.

Great post. I'd like to see a list of Round 1 WR's and see how many of them turned out to be solid WR's. Wonder how it compares.

Again, great post. I wouldn't mind seeing a WR in the 1st. We can address some of our other issues in FA.

I don't have a list but drafting a receiver in the first round kinda seems like a crapshoot. Crabtree was supposed to be the next big thing, he's a bust. Britt was hardly ranked as a first rounder, but he's a monster, same with Nicks. Desean Jackson went second round I think? Demarious (Sp?) Thomas went 1st round in 2010. It's all over the place really. DHB also was a 1st round talent, and is just shedding his bust title now.

We do need to go WR first round and we DID win with what I would consider bad o-lines and d-lines just this year. 2-1 with Kenny, 1-2 without him. Last year 5-2 with Kenny, he gets hurt, 1-8 the rest of the way.

Having a complimentary WR to go with Kenny will open things up immediately for our run game and we can start throwing the ball all over the field again like we did at the beginning of this season.

This organization has not had wr's since warren moon and the love ya blue jerry glanville days. What is the point in drafting a qb at 8. Signing a 9 million dollar veteran qb and having wr's that cannot play?

Hate to keep bringing it up but LLoyd for a 5 made a tone of sense for a 5th rounder.
