How about this data, 10 carries 18 yds, longest run 3 yds...?

But I agree, this team has a lot more things to address than just the playmakerless running game...but the running game is a big part of the problem, albeit not the only problem...

No doubt about it, and this team deserved everyone of them. The defense was pitiful, CJ was shut down, O-line could not get any push on anyone, WRs are dropping balls and running wrong routes, even Hasselbeck made poor throws. It was an embarrassing day to be a Titan's fan.

That is a very big problem, but it is not a one man problem. The O-line has been absolutely pitiful, the WRs are posing no threat in the passing game and it allowed them to sellout on the run. Once this team gets out of its identity early it seems like all the wheels fall of this train.

does the rankings not very depending on how well the back does too? all you have to do is watch their games...i've watched multiple games of the vikings and eagles and just watching them compared to ours it helps when the running back runs hard and doesnt dance in the backfield and fall down at the sight of a defender...

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ THIS!

That's why those stats are retarded. It just measures if there are defenders in the backfield before the runner leaves the backfield.

It hurts the stats a lot if you have a runningback that tends to, idk, not run towards the line of scrimmage. Lol. By doing that you're giving the defenders more time to get in the backfield, thus the stats are skewed.

Why do you think the RB is not running towards the line of scrimmage? Because there's already guys behind it grabbing him? Because there are no lanes? Probably.

because he thinks he cant outrun everyone and just beat them outside and hes not as with the fact that he isnt an everydown back...and he isnt running as hard and with as much heart as the other backs that are succeeding this year with some horrible offensive lines

It does the best you possibly could to separate the RB from the O-line by adjusting the statistics to the league average of RB YPC. If you want I'd be happy to help clarify this distinction.

Because you don't understand them nor their application does not make them retarded. As explained before, the statistics are adjusted to account for potential "skewing" by a productive or unproductive RB, is that really so complex of an idea? A RB's success at the LOS and first few yards is largely upon the O-line. This is football 101 guys.
