With Big Ben hurting and not able to move, our coaches decide to give him a break and put no rush on him. I must say that was mighty nice of us. I'd like to applaud the defense for being stand up guys and not making Ben have to move one inch from his pocket. Even with guys up front who haven't played in a year you still didn't try to get past them. Congrats guys, you did what no other team would!!!

P.S. The defense should be laughed at for that fact alone. I bet if you picked a random fan they could block any of our defensive linemen. Pathetic:irked:

I think they thought the O-line would be cake and never made adjustments.

It really comes down to Pittsburgh playing with a lot more emotion and will. Mike Tomlin had those guys ready to go.

Home field, better preparation and an established team will often beat a young team with new coaching like the Titans. Kenny Britt is being sorely missed and the game could have been completely different if the Titans could have kept some drives going in the first half. Our receivers are all over the place.

Like others have said though, I'm not too worried. Games like these can really build character. I just hope the Titans come out of the bye with a lot more fire.

I agree...in the post game quotes a couple of the players were legitimately embarrassed (should be)...point is I did not hear too much of that over the last couple of seasons, which is a good sign.

Long way to go this season yet, and we are going to improve.

The Titans regressed back to playing like they did in the opener...they need to learn how to play consistantly on the level they were on the past few games, before today.

And for gods sake, somebody instill some discipline to not block in the back and draw idiotic penalties....anyone?

Agree with that...it seems that when things get bad, we start pressing and committing the penalties. I thought we had gotten past that last week, but not so much this week.

I think that our hot start had people forgetting the boat we are in.

Our defense is not that talented. This hasn't changed. We lived and died the first five weeks we counted on Hasselbeck being perfect and weeks 1 and 5 he wasn't. Our offense is 1 dimensional and unless Avery comes up big after the bye we have no playmakers outside of Washington, a horrid Chris Johnson, and Troupe 2.0. We are going through growing pains but because of Manning's, Johnson's, and William's injuries' we may still make the playoffs.

We pretty much have played every team the same so far, and for the most part it's worked. Stop the run, then get to the QB. Today we should have thrown the kitchen sink at Ben early instead of just bringing 4. If a team has success rushing on us, we lose. Plain and simple
