Lol Nashville is one of the only places I would live in the southeast.

A fantastic city. Then again... I did grow up there.

The only other places I would even consider living in:

    Seattle
    Portland
    Charleston
    Savannah
    Nashville

    :sad2:

ONE MORE TIME: I'm not saying it's horrible. Nor am I whining.

I say it's boring. Big deal. Half the shows on TV are boring- I'm not throwing it out the window in a rage.

And I'd never live in Atlanta. No thanks.

Yep, nothing to do here... wasn't anything this past weekend... not like there was a free public concert series on Thursday (Live on the Green), and then a hot wing competition and beer festival (separate events) on Saturday, and then Battle of the Food Trucks on Sunday... I didn't even have time to go to any of those, but don't say that nothing is going on.

Yes, I know, obviously, I'm more interested in food and sports than nightlife and clubbing. However, you and I, Deuce, aren't all that far from being the guy who's really too old to be out at the club any way.

You said Nashville is a middle age kind of place... you're really not far from middle age. Get used to it.

^This past weekend I was actually at Sideshow Fringe Festival... where there were about 50 shows/acts over the course of a few days. (Belmont)

    But generally speaking.

And last night riding around Nashville- if only I had my video camera out- I was going to commentate as I went about. haha I'll do it soon enough.

During the week... it's a ghost town past 10.

Clearly DW is one of those "elitist in his mind" type people that think the music they listen to is better than anyones, the phone they use is better, etc. They claim to be open minded, but actually are extremely close minded and paint everything with one brush, like all boaters on a lake here are "rednecks".

Nashville is nice, but not everyone has to like it. Haven't payed attention so idk where DW is from, but a NY'r for example would probably find Nashville boring.

So much hate just cause the guy doesn't like Nashville the best. It is just different strokes for different folks.

I don't have a problem with people not liking Nashville, I just have a problem with total bs comments and reasons like "Nashville closes down at 10pm" or "all boaters are rednecks".

If your number1 hobby is surfing/beach activities or snow skiing then Nashville isn't for you. If you crave being around millions of people constantly then Nashville isn't for you.

Otherwise, Nashville has a lot to offer from an entertainment perspective.

Also, I can understand if someone came here for education not knowing about the area, or if someone came here for a job... then didn't like the area. But if you've lived in a place your whole life and you've made six figures a year, then you don't have an excuse for continuing to live in an area where all you do is b**** and whine about it.
