Hey man, dont feel that way. To be honest its time to start lookin at this positively. I’ve been sulking since the moment Kenny threw the ball in the defenders face, I knew he was gone for the season. But ive been reading a lot about ACL injuries and have been following this sport for a very long time, players can come back. They can actually come back stronger then before - its been proven too.

Like I said lets look at the Positives:
Kenny will be staying in Tennessee:
He said he will not return to NJ, which is a good thing. He will be away from trouble rehabbing hard.

    Hammy will finally heal up:
As he rests, so will his hammy. Very troublesome injury it has been for him, and in players who suffer from it it general, so it will be nice to get that out of the way. But since it has troubled him for so long already, I worry about his stretching and such. Either way, I know he’ll start to take more care of himself with the knee now as well, at least that’s my best guess.

Morgan will help him, or at least influence him, along with Avery:
In the league, there are two positions more than any other (there all pretty bad tbh) that are affected by major knee injures. WR's is one of them and D-line is the other. From my knowledge, i'd actually rank D-line as most significant. For bigger guys is the first, going against huge guys the second, hard every down regardless the third - from the burst, to the wrestling, to the tackle - they put a lot of irregular force on their knees. I see it far more dangerous to them and with Morgan making a quick recovery (in light of ppl hating on him for going to Africa) it shows if your dedicated things can work out. Im not saying its not bad for receivers too, we saw Tyrone's career destroyed b/c of similar injury - who was a receiver in the same mold as Britt ironically (and only that) as well.

Plz Note – I say ironic and only ironic b/c in calico's case i know he came back too quickly. and he crapped out both knees and one of them a second time as well. it was three ACL tears wasnt it? I mean **** guy, felt really bad for him. he was playing so good when he was young that I wont forget with McNair too. Anyway, out of the time capsule..

Avery said he's got his speed back:
That means teams were cutting him for other reasons. Speed is something and separation is something else. Does he get physically dominated at the line post injury? These things are concerns of mine.

IMO: Hawk ahead of DWill, who both ahead of Avery:
The only reason Williams will be playing though is because he is realistically the only other tall, more imposing receiver we have. The thing is i agree with this too, I like the combination of starting receivers to have different games/styles - allows for a more balanced passing attack. But the last time Dwill was on the field he was dropping everything….and I mean EVERYTHING. If he doesn’t rebound (by halftime), id pull him in favor of Hawk though – regardless of what general style I prefer.

Nate and Hawk can go deep, its not the wheels stopping him buddy. But when you have a 6 foot something giant out there with incredible speed as well, bumping a yard or two off DBs, with incredible reach and jumping abilities on top of that - ala Britt (who is a Moss/Owens blend) - is competently different then when you have a Hawk/Avery out deep, getting lost in comparison - the windows are completely different. Especially, the way Matt chucks the ball. i do remember a ball to Nate was perfectly thrown over all defenders, almost in full stride. But i distinctively also remember on that play, the pocket was incredible, and he had time to look to third third read (Nate) over an open CJ and some1 else i cant remember.

And lastly on to Hawk and to why I defend him.

But he has shown to be really good when given a chance. In his little time in the league, he has been forced to get in sync with so many QBs - KFC, Young, Rusty, Matt, Locker (not sure if im forgetting anyone simms maybe) – I mean c’mon. He practices with one, plays with another when injuries force it. He probably hasn’t ever had consistency practicing with a single QB. Even Nate, who has finally started looking like the receiver he soulda been when we signed him, has struggled with the consistent QB flux (even with the presence of a Run game past three years).

I like Hawkins right now, unlike dwill he hasn’t dropped anything, or committed penalties. He might be good with matt too if he is given a chance. I hope he is the third receiver this Sunday.

Note - left out marinai b/c i hvnt seen enough from him at WR to comment. to my knowledge, he really doesn't exist out of special teams.

Marc was supposed to be our wes welker, but the guy has shown nothing as a receiver. No seperation no nothing. So yea, he doesn't exist outside of ST. I dont mind DWill at #2 because as much as i like hawk, i admit he is the prototypical slot receiver. quick shifty and pretty sure handed. DWill is gonna have to show something though or else i'll be calling for Donnie soon. Those drops must go away.

One huge factor were forgetting is cook. He's just as tall and just as fast as Kenny. Split him out wide ALOT more with some LBs and let him do work.

    Morgan?

I saw Damian Williams at Stoney River last night. He was parked right next to me and I didn't realize it was him until he was getting into his car. Someone else was with him... Might've been McCourty. Not sure.

Let's hope he can step up and stop sucking.

if he is as good as you think he is then he would have passed Dwill and be starting. Can't blame the QB's if you run the wrong routes or drop passes. Every WR on this team has had to deal with the changes in the QB position.

Once DWill gels with Hass watch out. DWill is the real deal..he was impressive last year with his opportunities. At the very least he was impressive at the Eagles game last year, which I attended.

DWill time to answer to yo haters!

I woudn't mind getting another receiver in the second. A big guy like kenny, i think were set with small speed guys. But in the first round, i want a center. Then we can move Eugene "but coach, i thought holding was the same as blocking?" Amano's sorry butt back to guard.

That goes to an interesting point. When's the last time the Titans drafted an O-Lineman higher than the 4th round? I think it was Roos in the 2nd round in 2005. With two HOF lineman in our coaching staff its probably unlikely we see them break from the trend and draft a stud lineman. Almost makes you wonder if Munch got a little arrogant (for lack of a better word. I know he's a humble guy) in his ability to coach up late lineman draft picks and now we may be seeing this backfire with the likes of Amano and maybe Harris. I'd love to see us draft a stud Center early in the draft if Amano continues to underperform but I think they may have too much money in him, and it'd almost be like an admission of lack of coaching ability for Munchak and Matthews to draft a lineman that high.
