Exactly what i'm thinking.A win is a win. I would sacrifice the running game for a good passing game and a W also. Its basically what the team is doing is that they are telling opposing defenses that if they stop the run we will pass and if they stop the pass we will run.CJ said after the victory in Baltimore last week teams are finding out that they can shut him down but then someone else steps up and makes plays and in the end the team wins.

What do you mean? Sorry I don't watch much college football, but from what I've seen dude looks like a human highlight reel. On sportscenter I seen him like jump over defenders and catch up to balls overthrown by a good ten yards. Care to elaborate?

But even if Britt is hurt, I'm still not 100% on taking a WR first round. I think of them more like luxuries to teams that already have all the pieces in place. Case and point: the three top wideouts in the leage: A. Johnson, C Johnson, Fitzgerald. You can argue positioning between them, but they're the three best. All 3 teams missed the palyoffs. Football's won and lost in the trenches and we're weak on both sides of that.

But back on topic: Let's give Harper a shot. He looked like a young Eddie George in the preseason. Runs upright and straight ahead. Even if CJ does start to not suck so bad, if Harper comes along we can do the smash and dash approach if CJ ever gets upto speed. That's why we drafted him, CJ hasn't earned a starting job this season, give him a shot.

You do know that anyone can make a highlight reel?

He is another Troy Edwards. Look him up.

Broyles is productive, but his measurables aren't 1st round material.

Not saying he isn't going to be great, just saying that you aren't going to find value in picking him high. I bet he goes 2nd - 4th round.

I'm wondering myself when they are going to let Harper loose and see exactly what he is capable of.Seemed to do pretty good this preseason.Yeah i could see Harper being put with CJ in another smash and dash type role.See the thing is Palmer needs to be more creative with the playbook. Its killing me watching this OC continue over and over to run CJ every first and second down and the opposing defense isn't stupid they know its coming. What they need to do is maybe run Harper or Ringer sometimes instead of the same vanilla gameplan.Sometimes the playcalling is too predictable. They are running CJ into the ground and you have to wonder if he has already lost his elusiveness and his ability to shake people off and get the long gains like he used to.its possibly the offensive line maybe causing some of CJ's troubles but who really knows.....

Even if Britt is done for the season I don't want a receiver in the first round. I've already said that I think he'll be the same player once he comes back from the injury because of the style he plays. Plus we need a safety badly.

I do. That's why asked you to elaborate. I'm just saying his highlight reel seems impressive and I hear his name come up on the ESPN heisman darkhorse debates. As I said, I don't watch much college football. Just Penn State, and it's depressing.

No need. I know he is, and I get it. Thanks. :)

You can't really blame CJ. I mean.. In fact, CJ should split his new contract with Jeff Fisher. If it wasn't for fisher insisting on running the ball every play... CJs stats wouldn't be so inflated therefore he couldn't have asked for a new contract.

CJ was a product of Fisherball... and its apparent... Fisherball is a thing of the past.
