based on week 3 stats Titans are far from the average run team.

TheSureThing "It sucks"'ed the OP, how weird.

It's time to get off Cj's jock and onboard with the team.

Because like it or not, they won 2 games in a row with CJ as a 10 ton anchor.

Unfortunatly, with Britt out, that won't happen with CJ running like a squirel on crack in the backfield.

Since when is 21 yards an average game for a running back? :sad2: Much less acceptable for the highest paid running back in the league.

If he was averaging like 70-80 yards a game, I might be okay with the blocking sucks and the defenses are keying on him excuse.

But Shady McCoy is running behind the worst line in the league, and hasn't had less than a 100 yard game yet this season. CJ hasn't had one.

It's Fing pathetic. I wanna hear the people from last week that were saying "Well the Ravens are the best run defense in the league, let's just see.". Denver has one of the WORST. And you can't even get 30 yards? PATHETIC.

And we lost Kenny Britt, if not for the season, as least for a month or two. This is the most peccimistic 2-1 ever.

But hey Hasselbeck looks pretty damned good.

Well I was at the game and everytime we did play-action the entire defense seemed to bite........not that has to do with someone rushing for 2000 nor does it help the passing game.

If you look at the stats you'll see Chris Johnson isn't the only one struggling in the run game. Ringer had -6 yards today. Not that I'm making any excuses for Johnson, but there were multiple plays that he was hit in the backfield before he even had a chance to find a hole. Only time will tell if we get our running game together...it'd make for a nice complement to our passing game which has opened up recently. Haven't seen that in a while.

This is true..but we have an 'elite runningback' who is struggling..I think most of us here expect him to get going at some point...so I think by the end of the year we will be just that..an average run team.

I was just saying that's the closest thing I've seen jesse say that could be considered smart..or logical :grrhee:

you might be right, but well I say that ends in Cleveland.

I think the scatback will be facing a fierce 7 man front preparing too stop Hasselback and probably not even spying on CJsideWays, why would they do otherwise?

Clearly the scatback could not get it done when he faced 7 man fronts today against the Donkeys

Why does CJ never catch passes in stride?

I'm becoming more concerned with our O-line...I'm starting to put as much blame as I do on CJ on the line for our run game struggles.. We need a new center.
